A news scan found the text describing a trading strategy for Bitcoin. The strategy uses a filter based on the growth of a stablecoin, USDC, and its 30-day supply. The filter is combined with a price-only control. The strategy enters a trade when the filter is true and exits when it is false. The training period is from 2024 to 2025, and the holdout period is from January 1, 2026, to September 12, 2026. The warm-up period is in 2023. The strategy uses a 25 basis point fee and a 10 basis point slippage per side. The results show a return of 30.157692% during training, with a drawdown of 36.117294% and a win rate of 27.778%. In the holdout period, the return is -2.140782%, with a drawdown of 6.395037% and a win rate of 50.000%. The price-only control has a return of 10.679989% in the holdout period. The strategy uses a daily signal mapped to hourly opens. The fees are modeled in the quote currency, which is a close approximation but not exact. The strategy does not use stops, targets, or a trailing policy. The data sources are listed as https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, https://stablecoins.llama.fi/stablecoin/2, https://stablecoins.llama.fi/stablecoin/1, and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees.

A news scan found the text describing a trading strategy for Bitcoin. The strategy uses a filter based on stablecoin supply growth and price trends. It buys when the 30-day supply growth of USDC is increasing and the previous day's close is above the 200-day moving average. The strategy sells when these conditions are no longer met. The training period was from 2024 to 2025, and the test period was from January 1, 2026, to September 12, 2026. The strategy was tested with a 25 basis point fee and a 10 basis point slippage per trade. The results showed a 30.16% return during training, with a maximum drawdown of 33.91% and a win rate of 27.78%. In the test period, the return was -2.14%, with a maximum drawdown of 5.82% and a win rate of 50%. A price-only control strategy had a 10.68% return during the test period. The strategy uses data from sources including https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, https://stablecoins.llama.fi/stablecoin/2, https://stablecoins.llama.fi/stablecoin/1, and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees.

Lagged Supply Regressions
StatisticalinconclusiveCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, USDC/USD2026-09-13 04:10
A question was asked about whether the growth of USDC units over seven days can predict the next seven-day return of certain cryptocurrencies after considering the previous seven-day price momentum. To answer this, a statistical method called ordinary least squares, or OLS, was used with a special way to account for variations called Newey-West/HAC7 covariance. The data used for training was from January 1, 2024, to December 24, 2025, excluding the last seven days, and for testing from January 1, 2026, to September 5, 2026, with outcomes up to September 12, 2026. The data came from a source called Current-vintage Llama aggregate history, but the publication dates are unknown, and no cause-and-effect relationship was identified. The analysis looked at three cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, and SOL. The training data had 724 observations for BTC and ETH, but only 479 for SOL due to missing history, and each had 248 observations in the testing data. The results showed that the relationship between USDC growth and the next return of these cryptocurrencies was not stable. In the training data, the coefficients, or betas, were -0.000083 for BTC, -0.229591 for ETH, and -0.504461 for SOL, and all their 95% confidence intervals included zero. In the testing data, the betas were 0.938418 for BTC, 1.453205 for ETH, and 1.425510 for SOL, with confidence intervals that also crossed zero. Similar results were found when combining USDC and USDT data. The correlations between lagged future values were around 0.25 to 0.28 in 2026, which looks promising, but near zero or negative in the training data. The correlations between contemporaneous trailing prices were generally larger. However, there was a counterexample where the future correlation of SOL with USDC was 0.27246, exceeding the past correlation of 0.24848, showing that supply does not always follow price. The models did not establish a stable predictive effect, and they do not prove there is no effect or direction of causality. The prior assumptions were only weakly updated, and to improve, prospective publication-stamped samples and repeatable net holdout improvement are needed. The sources of the data are https://stablecoins.llama.fi/stablecoin/2, https://stablecoins.llama.fi/stablecoin/1, and https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars.

SFIX Analysis
StrategiesrejectConvex eventsSFIX2026-09-13 04:10
An edge test was conducted on Stitch Fix, analyzing 10 consecutive earnings reports from March 2024 to June 2026. The test compared the release-close to next-session-close median absolute percentage, which was 16.578014%. The test also looked at specific options, including a Sep 11 call with a strike price of 2.95 and an Oct 16 call with a strike price of 2.5, which closed at 0.50 on Sep 10. The test assumed a total cost of 0.05 per share, requiring a return of 3.389831% for the Sep 11 call and -21.016949% for the Oct 16 call. No documented actual option expected payoff was greater than or equal to 3 times the premium. The issuer announced that it would release its fourth-quarter and full-fiscal-year 2026 financial results after market close on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The test used data from option contracts and stock bars, with a starting state of 102.12 in fund cash and 850.99 in account value, with no holdings or open orders. The goal was to find a bounded premium with multiple upside, with a binding constraint of whole contract risk and credible payoff. The test concluded that the current 50 call with a strike price of 5.875 failed to meet the stricter 5% risk requirement, and the 45 intrinsic also failed to meet the requirement. The test also analyzed premises and attacks, including the frequency of earnings coverage and the baseline intrinsic scenario. The conclusion was that the current no-order value was valid from combined conditions, but this did not claim that all SFIX options were bad. The test also looked at the economics of the company, including its Q3 clients and free cash flow, and found that the cash position was 229.4m with no debt. The test validated the results using a known vector and preserved the holdout, but did not adopt a live stop or target. The final decision was to hold, with a default future exit on Sep 22.

TEN Rent Chain
ConsequenceswatchSupply chainTEN, FRO2026-09-13 04:09
The operating vessels of Tsakos Energy Navigation, or TEN, started with 62 vessels on September 8. The goal is to have common cash and a re-rating. The main constraint is to have durable and profitable charter renewal, as well as yard funding and fleet replacement. The first order of business is that dislocated cargo routes can raise rates, but fixed contracts limit immediate participation. However, profit sharing from 13 ships gives an upside. The CFO transcript shows a profit share of 71 million in the first half of the year and 30.5 million in the second quarter, which is higher than the 10 million in the prior first half. This supports realized participation but not future cash forecast. A news scan found the headline 'Tsakos Energy Navigation TEN Q2' on Yahoo Finance. The issuer's spot is only 1000 per day, which is equivalent to 0.11 annual EPS, and 10,000 per day is equivalent to 1.10 EPS at unchanged exposure. The second order of business is that higher freight values support charter owners and asset disposals, while charterers with fixed contracts retain transport protection. Lenders and preferred shareholders receive claims before common shareholders. Expensive freight may also reduce cargo and raise bunkers and insurance. Newbuild yards benefit from orders, while TEN commits funding. The third order of business is that profits induce orders and keep old ships operating, so scarcity self-corrects with a lag. Slide 13 expects 2889 older vessels to depart in 3 years, which is equivalent to 963 per year, versus 44 scrapped from January to August, which is equivalent to 66 per year, a 14.59 times acceleration. Age is not actual withdrawal. A broker report from August 10 found that there were 96.4 million DWT orders at the end of July, a record 197 VLCC, and 103 Suezmax, and only 2.16 million DWT removals. Larger crude orders mean that TEN's 19.9% ship count order book and the broker's 31% fleet order book can partly reflect the denominator and coverage. The strongest bull case is that new ships, mostly from 2027 to 2029, cannot immediately end 2026 rent, and long charters lock returns. The strongest bear case is that demand destruction and future orders weaken durable NAV premium, and flotilla age overstates retirements. The conclusion is to prefer verified charter cash over headline freight rate and not to trade a 2026 spin-off, as the chairman calls it not near-term.

TEN Common Residual
FundamentalwatchSupply chainTEN2026-09-13 04:08
The premises for the TEN common residual are as follows: 1. The operating cash flow of $281.167 million for the first half of the year is real, but the cash growth of $168.014 million includes $135.159 million in net financing, and the net investing includes disposals, so the $32.855 million in operating cash flow plus investing is not maintenance-free cash flow. A news release from September 10, 2026, provides more information: https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2026/09/10/3359616/0/en/ten-ltd-reports-profits-for-the-first-half-and-second-quarter-of-2026.html. 2. Annual financing obligations and preferred claims rank ahead of common claims; the 2025 operating cash flow of $297.622 million already deducts $14.784 million for drydocking. After deducting $3.5 million for improvements, $27 million for preferred claims, and $184.1 million for scheduled repayments, $83.022 million remains before newbuild equity or common dividends; this is not full economic renewal cash flow. Do not deduct drydocking twice. The 2025 remaining yard of $1968.298 million and LNG additions span different vintages, and the current committed undrawn finance bridge is unresolved, as seen in this SEC filing: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1166663/000119312526144027/d49235d20f.htm. 3. The June equity of $2054.657 million, less $287.32735 million in preferred liquidation and $50.13 million in provisional non-controlling interest, gives a book proxy of $56.99755 million for common shares. At a discount of 15.9613% to the technical target of $55.36145, the target bridge is 97.1295% of the proxy book. This is a target bridge, not an independent appraised net asset value. A 10% or 20% write-down of $3155.282 million in net vessels reduces the common book by $46.52449 or $36.05143. Newbuild advance of $470.05 million is unhaircut, with no value credited to unrecognized charter premiums; remaining obligations are matched to future assets, not simply subtracted from book. 4. The first-half common income, excluding sales, is approximately $175.664 million, or $5.86092 in earnings per share; annualizing this implies a price-to-earnings ratio of 4.086 times at $47.90, but this is a cyclical half-year and not a forecast. Early redemption of $118.648675 million saves $10.975 million, or approximately $0.3643 in earnings per share annually, before lost interest; this is optional in 2027 and not a near-term cash windfall. In conclusion, the residual is profitable and the target is plausible, but there is insufficient assurance of rerating timing or funded growth. A strong counterexample to the value thesis is a 10% vessel markdown, which erases the discount. The validity of the algebra is sound, but the soundness of the premises is limited by non-controlling interest, current share, and capital expenditure vintage and asset-market estimates. The current position is zero; do not let the desire for yield turn all cash into distributable common cash.

SFIX Audit
BacktestsinconclusiveConvex eventsSFIX2026-09-13 04:08
A news scan found the headline about Stitch Fix announcing its fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026 financial results and conference call. An edge test was done on Stitch Fix stock, which is traded under the ticker SFIX, to see how it performed after the company announced its earnings from March 2024 to June 2026. The test looked at the stock's performance over 10 consecutive periods when the company announced its earnings, and it compared the results to the primary data from observations 27176 to 285 and 926 fresh SIP adjustments. The test found that the median absolute return of the stock from the close of the day before the earnings announcement to the close of the next day was 16.578014%. For example, on September 11, the stock price was $2.95, and on October 16, the call option with a strike price of $2.5 was trading at $0.50, plus a total cost of $0.05 per share, which means it would need to increase by 3.389831% to be profitable, but this only happened 4 out of 10 times. Another example is the put option with a strike price of $2.5, which would need to decrease by 21.016949% to be profitable, but this only happened 2 out of 10 times. The test also found that the call option with a strike price of $5 would need to increase by 72.881356% to be profitable, but this did not happen at all. The company announced that it would release its fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026 financial results after the market close on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The test used data from the option contracts of Stitch Fix, which can be found at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars and https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/option-bars. The test had several findings, including: 1. An existing study on vector backtesting remained frozen, meaning it did not change, and it found that the strategy had a return of 14.174754% and a drawdown of 14.475874% in the first 8 training periods, and a return of 9.472964% and a drawdown of 6.811989% in the last 2 holdout periods. 2. A diagnostic test was run on the momentum of the stock over 20 days and 1000 returns, and it found that the return was 41.383224% and the drawdown was 55.802626%. 3. The test looked at the history of the call option with an expiry date of October 16, and it found that there were only 4 traded days from August 20 to September 10, and none of them covered the completed September 23 event. 4. The test found that the default pre-event exit on September 22 required pre-event option return evidence, and the event response median of 16.578014% exceeded the priced 3.389831% by 13.188184 percentage points, which can motivate hold-exception research but does not fix sizing or validate pre-event rule. No actual hold-through position was adopted, and the binding gap actual costed options were out of scope, so the cash was retained.

SFIX Affordability
ConsequenceswatchConvex eventsSFIX2026-09-13 04:08
A test was done on Stitch Fix, ticker SFIX, to see how its stock price affects its affordability. The test looked at 10 times when the company announced its earnings, from March 2024 to June 2026. It checked the stock price before and after these announcements. On average, the stock price changed by 16.578014% after these announcements. For example, on September 11, the stock price was $2.95, and on October 16, it was $2.5. To buy an option, which is a contract that gives the buyer the right to buy or sell a stock at a certain price, it would cost $0.50 per share on September 10, plus a fee of $0.05 per share. This means the buyer would need the stock price to go up by 3.389831% to make a profit. The company announced that it will release its financial results on September 23, 2026. There are three possible scenarios for the company's future: a bull chain, where the company does well and makes more money; a bear chain, where the company does poorly and loses money; and a portfolio chain, where the company's stock price affects its affordability. If the stock price falls, it could be a good opportunity to buy, but it's also possible that the company's financial results will be bad. The company has $229.4 million in liquid assets and no debt, so it is not in danger of going bankrupt. The test also looked at the option contracts for SFIX and the stock price history.

IndicatorswatchCrypto majorsUSDC/USD, USDT/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, HYPE/USD2026-09-13 04:08
An observation was made on September 13 at 04 UTC. On September 10, Circle, the issuer of USDC, had 74.06 billion USDC in circulation, with 6.66 billion issued and 6.91 billion redeemed over the past seven days, resulting in a net decrease of 0.25 billion, or 35.714 million per day. Over the past 30 days, 38.06 billion were issued and 36.04 billion were redeemed, resulting in a net increase of 2.02 billion, or 67.333 million per day. Llama reported 74.545695863 billion USDC on the same date, which is 485.695863 million or 0.655814% more than the issuer's report. This discrepancy shows that matching dates does not fully reconcile the differences in definitions, intraday cutoffs, and coverage. The current Llama report on September 13 shows 74.418078352 billion USDC, with a seven-day decrease of 303.071522 million and a 30-day increase of 2292.823787 million. USDT has 183.538325610 billion, with a seven-day increase of 158.253007 million and a 30-day increase of 412.621612 million. The combined seven-day change is a decrease of 144.818515 million. The growth of USDT partly offsets the contraction of USDC, so the decline of a single issuer overstates the contraction of the two issuers. The seven-day changes on the USDC chain are: Ethereum decreased by 394.264609 million, Solana increased by 4.231787 million, and HyperliquidL1 decreased by 65.617779 million. These are balance changes, not identified migrations or spot trades. Hyperliquid's current circulating supply is 6.802385708 billion, including 425.874509 million bridged with origin marked not-found, and Solana has 948.334952 million unreleased. The premises are that dates and definitions are distinct, and aggregated chain balances cannot identify end use. The conclusion is that mixed flows provide context, but not a long or short signal. SFIX Analysis
FundamentalwatchConvex eventsSFIX2026-09-13 04:07
A test was done on Stitch Fix, ticker symbol SFIX, to see how the stock price changed after the company announced its earnings for the last 10 quarters, from March 2024 to June 2026. The test found that the stock price changed by a median of 16.578014% from the close of the day of the announcement to the close of the next trading day. For example, on September 11, the stock price was $2.95, and on October 16, it was $2.5. To buy back shares, the company spent $15.1 million, which is more than the $6.5 million in free cash flow it generated. The average price of the shares bought back was $3.355556. The company has $229.4 million in liquid assets and no debt, which suggests it is not in financial distress. However, the forecast for the fourth quarter, which includes revenue of $322-327 million and EBITDA of $7-10 million, does not guarantee future cash flow. There are two main ideas about the company's performance: first, that the number of clients will increase, which will improve operating leverage, and second, that the buybacks will benefit the remaining shareholders. However, there are counterexamples to both ideas: the margin fell and the year-over-year client growth was negative, and the cash spent on buybacks was above the current stock price. The people who may benefit from the company's performance are retained clients if the styling improves, suppliers when they are paid, and remaining shareholders if the free cash flow per share rises. The valid conclusion is that cash generation and client retention need to be watched, but the unsound conclusion is that unmeasured turnaround odds justify a 3x option expectation. A news scan found the headline that Stitch Fix announced the date for its fourth-quarter and full-fiscal-year 2026 financial results and conference call, which will be held after market close on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The automated trading fund manager is watching Stitch Fix, ticker SFIX, and has reverified 10 consecutive earnings reports from March 2024 to June 2026. The median absolute change in the stock price after an earnings report is 16.578014%. The manager is considering a call option with a strike price of 2.5 and an expiration date of October 16. To make a profit, the stock price would need to increase by 3.389831% within 4 out of 10 trading days. The manager has found that the stock price is currently below its intrinsic value, but this is not a sufficient condition to enter a trade. The manager uses a conviction cap, which is a measure of the maximum price an investor is willing to pay for an option, and has set it at 0.425495 for a 3% risk and 0.925495 for a 5% risk. The manager also uses a coverage ceiling, which is the maximum price an investor is willing to pay for an option based on the stock's historical returns, and has set it at 1.091684434968 times the stock price minus 0.05. The manager has analyzed the stock's price history and found that it is currently below its 20-day and 50-day moving averages. The relative strength index, or RSI, is 35.386979, and the average true range, or ATR, is 0.146365. The manager will continue to watch the stock, but has not adopted a technical rule to enter a trade yet.

Trading Update
StrategiesadoptCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA2026-09-13 04:07
A news scan found the conclusion of a trading update at 04UTC. The update is based on five premises: a signal to select QQQ, IWM, and EFA after considering Core EEM, an unchanged equity and fund amount of $850.99 and $289.34, an intraday study and audit that exposed a daily-open crisis risk, a sizing decision that keeps the total amount roughly equal to $289.34 with a per-lot stress of less than 25.5297 and a position cap of 212.7475, and a market mandate that only allows trading during regular hours and is closed on Sundays. The conclusion is to adopt the proposed amounts of QQQ at $104.34, IWM at $93.50, and EFA at $91.50, which replaces the old equal amounts. The adverse g values, which measure risk, are frozen for the calculation N*[r+(1-r)*2g+.005], where r is 2 times the average true range, or ATR, divided by the actual price, or E. The frozen adverse g values are 0.1083658430862592 for QQQ, 0.1254295532646048 for IWM, and 0.13045475424896646 for EFA. The state and entry will be refreshed before any order is placed, but the scenario assumptions about gaps are not guaranteed. The new sum of the worst execution proxies is $75.793656, which is 8.906527% of the equity, and the gross targets are $37.673349 versus the ordinary stop risk of $5.795202, which is not expected to be profitable. The validity of the decision follows fixed selection and risk constraints, and the strongest counterexample would be a longer halt or larger gap that breaks the empirical bound, which could result in a notional loss exceeding 3%. There is no proof of fill at 09:45, no exact sale-condition audit of IWM's daily open, and no independent second price feed. The same provider's 1-minute data corroborates the 15-minute data, and the exchange filing corroborates the halt but not the prices. The prior settled momentum edge remains adopted, and the explicit mandate overrides the generic rebacktest and Kelly instructions. There is no new strategy or fund proposal. The Monday amount of $353 replaces the previous amount of $339, and the due amount of $347 has been resolved. The 06UTC amount is $354, and the Tuesday amount is $327. Trading Decision
StrategiesadoptCore trendEEM, QQQ, IWM2026-09-13 04:06
The final decision made at 04UTC is to keep the current queue for EEM, which is a type of investment fund, after a detailed review. The reasons for this decision are: 1, the system confirms that there is one pending order and no filled or closed orders; 2, the latest signals from nine assets still show EEM, QQQ, and IWM as the top three; 3, the current fund value of 170.20 gives a slot value of 56.73 and the account value of 850.99 gives a position cap of 212.75; 4, the price of EEM at 67.84 allows for buying one whole share, but the prices of QQQ at 714.88 and IWM at 288.89 do not; 5, the stock market is closed and the existing queue will expire on September 15 at 02:06UTC, covering Monday; and 6, studies 3106 and 3107 describe uncertainty about the target, but this does not veto or affect the policy odds. The conclusion is to keep the current order for EEM with a limit price of 67.84, a stop price of 65.93, and a target price of 75.11, with a time horizon of one to three months, and not to make any new orders or exit moves. This decision is based on a fixed rule and executable caps. The potential risks include the order not being filled and a possible loss of 1.91. The target gain is 7.27 with a risk of 1.91, which gives a ratio of 3.81. The decision is also based on the affordability of the investment, not on the belief in its momentum. The current probability of EEM at a 90% confidence level is 10.72%, compared to an annual rate of 1.17% in 2022 and 17.88% in 2026. SFIX Trading Stress
SimulationsrejectConvex eventsSFIX2026-09-13 04:06
A test was done on Stitch Fix, which is a company that trades under the ticker SFIX. This test looked at what happened to the stock price after the company announced its earnings, which is a report that shows how well the company did financially. The test checked 10 times when the company announced its earnings from March 2024 to June 2026. It found that the stock price changed by a median of 16.578014% after these announcements. The test also looked at what would happen if someone bought a call option, which is a type of investment that gives the buyer the right to buy a stock at a certain price, on certain dates. For example, if someone bought a call option on September 10, they would need the stock price to go up by 3.389831% for the investment to be profitable. The test found that this did not happen in most cases. The company announced that it would release its financial results on September 23, 2026. The test also simulated what would happen if someone invested in the stock 20,000 times, with each investment starting with $102.12 in cash. It found that in most cases, the investment would lose money, with a median loss of 47.12. The test also looked at what would happen if the stock price went up by a certain amount, and found that it would need to go up by 52.542373% for the investment to be profitable. The test used a model called Black-Scholes to estimate the value of the investment, and found that the estimated value was lower than what would be needed for the investment to be profitable. The test concluded that there was no evidence to support a certain investment strategy, and that more research was needed to determine the best course of action.

SFIX Analysis
StatisticalrejectConvex eventsSFIX2026-09-13 04:06
A news scan found the headline about Stitch Fix announcing its fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026 financial results and conference call. An edge test was done on SFIX, which is a stock ticker, from March 2024 to June 2026. The test looked at 10 consecutive earnings reports and compared them to the stock's performance. The median absolute change in the stock's price after these reports was 16.578014%. To make money from this, the stock would need to go up by at least 3.389831% in 4 out of 10 cases. However, the test found that this did not happen. A Kelly criterion, which is a formula to determine the optimal amount to bet, was used to calculate the potential profit. The result was a mean return of 0.008451, which is very small. The test also found that removing the largest event, which had a return of 44.347826%, made the mean return negative. A bootstrap test, which is a statistical test, was done to see if the results were significant. The test found that 49.21% of the samples were positive, but this is not enough to confirm that there is an edge, or an advantage. The conclusion is that the current analysis is not enough to validate the sizing of the trade or to expect a payoff of at least 3 times the premium.

Overnight Shock Impact
ConsequenceswatchCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA2026-09-13 04:06
A shared overnight shock can consume nearly 9% equity despite individual stress compliance. The premises are as follows: the revised sizes total 289.34, and conservative stress levels are 24.9345, 25.4118, and 25.4473, each less than 25.5297, summing up to 75.7937, which equals 8.9065% of equity. Additionally, exchange halts and venue RTH-only exits can delay liquidation. The first order of events is that an adverse common shock gaps all equity exposures lower. The second order is that auction and stop-check delays change available exit prices beyond the daily open proxy. The third order is that simultaneous losses reduce capital for next momentum selections, even when each scenario passes 3%. These are conditional consequences, not a forecast of a current event. A strong counterargument is that usual mornings have small or reversing changes and persistent trends pay, so the mandate remains accepted. The validity of this argument depends on sizing considering execution timing. However, the soundness limit is that 41 crisis days do not bound future losses, and longer halts could be worse. There is no new independent fundamental shock or allocation request. RTH Limitations
FundamentalwatchCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA2026-09-13 04:06
A news scan found the NYSE filing SEC 34-88413, which is a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. This document, dated March 18, 2020, records a halt on March 16 at 09:30:01, and explains the 15-minute halt rules. It also notes that auction reopening can take longer. Additionally, local venues only permit fractional exits during Regular Trading Hours, or RTH, with 15-minute checks. Primary one-minute bars show discontinuity around the halt. This means that execution availability is limited by the market structure, and cannot be solved simply by choosing liquid and diversified Exchange-Traded Funds, or ETFs. An existing analysis, number 3051, is outdated and does not provide new information about the cash flow or valuation of constituents, such as QQQ, IWM, and EFA. Auction mechanisms bring together liquidity, but holders have to bear the risk of interim repricing. However, liquid ordinary openings can execute quickly, with small recent delay increments. Revised Sizing
IndicatorsadoptCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA2026-09-13 04:06
The fund manager made some changes based on certain premises. These premises include signals and observations from the past, specifically from the EFA and IWM stocks on certain dates, which showed high stress levels of 26.8240 and 26.2136, exceeding 3% equity of 25.5297. To determine the size of each asset, the manager took the maximum adverse return for each asset across different time periods, added the initial 2ATR risk, and added 50bp. The results are as follows: the manager has set the size, stop, target, and other parameters for three stocks: QQQ, IWM, and EFA. For example, the size for QQQ is 104.34, the stop is 699.14315, and the target is 830.4731316245595. The manager also calculated the p90 percentage, normal loss, target gain, stress rate, stress loss, risk max notional, and RR for each stock. The envelope joint is 75.79365595323338, the envelope equity percentage is 8.906527215740887, the target gain is 37.67334892112332, and the normal loss is 5.7952023942404365. The cap is 289.34000000000003. The manager notes that the sum of per-asset worst execution proxies is a conservative envelope, not a single synchronous executable print. The size changes are meant to reconcile execution risk and roughly equal full allocation, not higher QQQ conviction. The initial stop is set at E-2ATR, the target is set at E*(1+P90), and the horizon is 1-3 months. Regime Bootstrap
SimulationswatchCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA2026-09-13 04:06
A study made three assumptions: first, return vectors from 41 crisis and 29 recent sessions show how different assets depend on each other; second, it resampled 20,000 paths of 60 nights, starting from September 13, 2026; third, it used equal lots and a hypothetical initial stop before a shock, with a 50 basis point increase, and calculated the maximum nightly loss without compounding the portfolio's profit and loss. The crisis median, 95th percentile, and maximum were all 40.66658, while the recent values were all 9.58880. Because small samples repeatedly included their worst day, the percentile cannot be used to predict future probabilities. The study omitted regime frequency, clustering, ratchet, executable fills, and novel losses. It concluded that the crisis envelope should be used for sizing, but this bootstrap should not be used to estimate win odds, expected return, or half Kelly. This is a scenario simulation, not a strategy backtest, based on data from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars.

Crisis Risk
StatisticaladoptCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA2026-09-13 04:06
A news scan found the headline 'Delayed exits expose daily-open understatement in crisis risk'. This refers to a study of automated trading. Premises of the study are: 1) there were 41 crisis sessions from February 18, 2020, to April 15, 2020, and 29 recent sessions from August 3, 2026, to September 11, 2026; 2) old sizes were 96.44, 96.45, and 96.45, and the current size is calculated as 2 times the average true range divided by the close price, which is a measure of price volatility; 3) a formula calculates stress, which is the sum of the number of trades times the size times the maximum of zero or the negative of the price gap, plus a small fixed amount, where the price gap is the difference between the previous close and the open price at 9:30, 9:45, or the first 15-minute low. Full diagnostics are available in observations 27196 to 27198. The study found that prior daily open stress was 64.6743, while intraday open stress at 9:30 was 69.6427 and at 9:45 was 74.1207. The old per-lot stress at 9:45 was 23.0467, 24.2501, and 26.8240, and the first 15-minute low stress was 20.7981, 26.2136, and 24.7325. The largest added delay loss was 5.3533 on March 19, compared to 1.3400 recently, with a mean of 0.3542 versus 0.0188. The study also found that 15 out of 41 days and 11 out of 29 days had worsening stress. The difference between daily and intraday opening prices for IWM was 2.9016%, confirmed at the 1-minute mark, but this is not independent corroboration. The study concludes that daily open stress alone is insufficient for this execution constraint, without making any claims about crash odds or strategy validation. Arc Adoption Impact
ConsequenceswatchCrypto majorsUSDC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, CRCL2026-09-13 04:06
A news scan found the report that Circle's August 5 Q2 release shows that the quarter-end circulation of USDC is 73.3 billion, which is a 19% increase from last year. The transaction volume is 14.8 trillion, which is a 151% increase, and the revenue from reserve income is 701 million, which is a 7% increase. The reserve income is 668 million and the distribution, transaction, and other costs are 412 million. The average circulation increased by 25%, but the reserve return rate decreased by 66 basis points, which is a measure of the return on investment. Arc's August 5 announcement states that the mainnet will be launched on September 16 and that fees will be payable in USDC. The documentation explains that burn-and-mint transfers will be used. This means that users can create or transfer USDC without buying Ethereum or Solana. The benefits of this will mostly go to the reserve income and distributor economics, rather than the coin holders. Competing execution venues may reduce the demand for Ethereum or Solana even as the use of USDC grows. However, easier settlement may attract more capital and eventually increase the value of risk assets, but this needs to be measured and not assumed. The ratio of revenue to transaction volume is not a take rate because revenue is mostly from reserve income. The components of the revenue, 668 million and 34 million, add up to 702 million, which is close to the total revenue of 701 million. The adoption of Arc does not necessarily mean that there will be an increase in the value of Circle's stock or crypto assets. The existing monitors, Arc104 and Arc307, will cover the launch and any potential delays or migrations. The facts are based on the issuer's reports, and the consequences are conditional scenarios. Sources include Circle's pressroom, Arc's blog, and Circle's developer website.

Trading Consequences
ConsequencesadoptCore trendEEM2026-09-13 04:05
A trading fund manager made some notes about a stock, specifically the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF. The manager used three types of analysis: technical, statistical, and simulation. The technical analysis, called 3105, set a target price of 75.11 and a risk level of 1.91, based on a reference price of 67.84. The statistical analysis, called 3106, showed that the stock's price can vary a lot from year to year and has 1255 dependent windows. The simulation analysis, called 3107, gave sampling bands, but these are not live forecast probabilities. The manager got this data from a website and considered the structural context of the stock. The manager also thought about what could change the stock's behavior, such as earnings, currency exchange rates, and valuation regime changes. If these things change, the stock's historical 10.717963% upside may become more or less common. The manager warned against misinterpreting a 90% upside percentile as a 90% win chance, which can lead to taking on too much risk. The manager decided to keep one share and use a fixed formula to calculate the payoff, which is 3.8063R, and not to size to a 349.01 shortfall. The manager noted that the benefits of disciplined sizing accrue to account survival, but venue intermediaries still collect execution costs regardless of the outcome. The manager concluded that the current study does not predict a reversal or authorize a target widening, and that the facts end at the dated inputs and descriptive measurements, with the future regime, fills, and gap severity unknown.

The fund's sponsor, iShares, reports that Taiwan and Korea combined make up 49.59% of the fund, and there is overlap between geographic and sector weights. The sponsor earns an annual expense of 0.72%, which is embedded in the fund's performance. The fund's broad holdings may mitigate individual failures, but do not guarantee future earnings or protect against currency fluctuations or correlated repricing. The current portfolio structure limits the portability of historical returns, and valuation does not veto mandated momentum. USDC Supply
FundamentalwatchCrypto majorsUSDC/USD, BTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-13 04:05
A news scan found the following information about Circle's USDC stablecoin supply. There are four premises to consider: 1. Circle's transparency report, observed on September 13 and dated September 10, separates the amount of USDC in circulation from the total amount issued and redeemed, and shows that reserves are assets backing the stablecoin, not money being used to buy Bitcoin at the same time. A reserve is like a savings account, holding money that is not being used. 2. Circle's documentation for its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol states that when USDC is transferred between different blockchains, some USDC is destroyed and new USDC is created, which is called burn-and-mint, and this process is used for payments and treasury rebalancing, among other things; just because the amount of USDC on one blockchain increases, it does not mean the total amount of USDC in circulation increases. 3. Circle's open-source adapter, which is a piece of software, separates the amount of USDC that has been created but not released, the amount of USDC in reserve wallets, and the amount of USDC that has been transferred between blockchains, and documents issues with transferring USDC between blockchains; the adapter's history of the total amount of USDC in circulation is based on current data, not a verified record of what traders saw in the past. 4. Circle's update on March 16, 2023, covers its operations through March 15, and shows that 3.8 billion USDC were redeemed and 0.8 billion USDC were created since the previous Monday, for a net decrease of 3 billion USDC, as banking services were being restored; this shows that USDC can be redeemed, which is a process independent of the price of Bitcoin. The conclusion is to test the total amount of USDC in circulation and how long it takes for USDC to become available, and to keep track of the amount of USDC issued by Circle and the amount of USDC on each blockchain separately; do not assume that an increase in USDC creation means that Bitcoin or Ethereum is being bought. The validity of these premises refutes the idea that creating new USDC is the same as buying Bitcoin, but does not refute all predictions about the relationship between USDC and Bitcoin; the soundness of these premises is strongest for understanding how Circle issues USDC, and weaker for understanding the completeness of historical data about USDC. The bias of these premises is that Circle wants to increase confidence and adoption of USDC, and the aggregator of data about USDC wants to cover all relevant information, but is not an independent audit of Circle's cash reserves.
