A preregistered note, number 1253, was written before data was retrieved. The test used nine sector ETFs, ranking them by their adjusted close returns over the prior three sessions at the weekly boundary. It bought the worst performing ETF at the next open if its own return was negative. Subtracting SPY, which is a type of stock market index fund, did not change the rankings. The initial stop loss was set at 1 times the prior 20-day mean high-low range, the target at 1.5 times this range, and half of the position was closed at 1 times this range. The test used data from 2016 to 2020 for training, 2021 to 2025 for testing, and 2026 for a retrospective extension. Late boundary-crossing trades were omitted. The test used all 10 series of 2685 aligned sessions from January 2016 to September 8, 2026, with no missing values and adjusted open, high, low, and close prices. The test started with a normalized capital of 10000, used cash only, and included fees of 1 basis point and slippage of 5 basis points on each side. The final capital was 8497.19. The test used a custom event to verify cash and equity points, and stop priority was used on daily collisions. The test was not an exact replication of the Nagel study, which used 48 industry and individual stocks, a long-short strategy, and a conditional beta hedge. The test used ETFs instead of individual stocks and did not include a VIX dependence. The premises of the test were to record returns from a fixed rule, to ensure a positive edge survived costs and uncertainty, and to test the whole family of strategies under stress and confidence intervals. The conclusion of the test was for research purposes only and did not recommend allocation. The sample size was 225, with a p-value of 0.52 and a W-value of 1.60. The mean return was -0.0524%, and the years 2021 to 2025 had returns of -14.63%, -6.11%, 16.13%, -10.18%, and 1.62%, respectively. The exit counts were 114 for stop losses, 39 for targets, 35 for breakeven, 26 for time, and 11 for target gaps. The return and drawdown were calculated using full research capital and daily close marks, not account performance or worst intraday drawdown. No fixed monthly platform charges were deducted, which would have worsened the net economics. The historical windows used were previously used by other fund studies and were not pristine out-of-sample. No winner was chosen from a sweep of parameters. The sources used were a working paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research and a stock bars feed from a website, as well as local research and observations 16049-16076, and a Python script called reversal.py.

A preregistered note, number 1253, was written before data was retrieved. The strategy involves nine sector ETFs, which are ranked based on their adjusted close returns over the prior five sessions at the weekly boundary. The worst performing ETF is bought at the next open if its return is negative. This is called a reversal strategy, meaning it goes against the recent trend. The SPY, a common stock market index, subtraction does not change the cross-sectional ranks, which means the comparison between the ETFs remains the same. The initial stop, target, and other parameters are set based on the prior 20 session mean high-low range, which is a measure of price volatility. The training period is from 2016 to 2020, the testing period is from 2021 to 2025, and there is a retrospective extension to 2026. Late boundary-crossing trades are omitted, which means trades that occur after the weekly boundary are not included. All ten series have 2685 aligned sessions from January 2016 to September 8, 2026, with no missing values, and the ETF set has survived. The normalized capital is $10,000, with cash only, and fees of 1 basis point and slippage of 5 basis points each side, including partials. A basis point is a unit of measurement for interest rates and fees. The custom event cash and every equity point have been verified by vectorbt from orders, with an exact final value of $11,078.92. The stop priority is on daily collisions, with an adverse gap stop at open, target gap recognized, and partial or breakeven ambiguous days assigned adverse sequence. Continuous touch is optimistic versus 15-minute polling, even though the collision rule is conservative. The premises of the research are: recorded returns from a fixed rule, a base positive edge must survive costs and uncertainty, and the whole family fails stress and confidence interval. The conclusion is that this is research-only, with no allocation. The sample size is 35, with a p-value of 0.6857, a win rate of 1.3326%, a loss rate of 1.9266%, and a mean return of 0.3083%. The years of return are listed, with 2026 having a return of 10.7892%. The exit counts are 14 for stop, 9 for breakeven, 8 for target, 3 for time, and 1 for target gap. The trade sample counts are completed round trips, with partial legs aggregated. The return and drawdown are for full research capital and daily close marks, not account performance or worst intraday drawdown. No fixed monthly platform charges are deducted, which would worsen the net economics. All historical windows previously used by other fund studies are not pristine out-of-sample, and no winner is chosen from a sweep. The sources of the data are listed, including a working paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research and a stock bars dataset. The observations are from 16049 to 16076, and the local research is from reversal.py.

A preregistered note, number 1253, was written before data was retrieved. The strategy involves nine sector ETFs, which are ranked based on their adjusted close returns over the prior five sessions at the weekly boundary. The worst performing ETF is bought at the next open if its return is negative, a process known as a reversal strategy, which is a trading approach that involves buying assets that have performed poorly and selling those that have performed well. The SPY subtraction, which refers to the removal of the impact of the SPY ETF, does not change the cross-sectional ranks, meaning it does not affect the relative performance of the ETFs. The parent exits at the next weekly open without protective exits, which are trades designed to limit losses, and is not eligible for venue, a term that refers to the location or platform where trades are executed. The data used for training the strategy spans from 2016 to 2020, and the testing period is from 2021 to 2025, with a retrospective extension to 2026. Late boundary-crossing trades, which occur when a trade is executed after the designated boundary, are omitted. The strategy was tested on all 10 series, with 2685 aligned sessions from January 2016 to September 8, 2026, with no missing values filled, and using adjusted OHLC, or open, high, low, and close prices. The initial capital was $10,000, with cash only, and fees of 1 basis point, or 0.01%, and slippage of 5 basis points, or 0.05%, each side, including partials. The final value was $13,996.98, verified by vectorbt from orders. The strategy prioritizes stop-loss orders on daily collisions, which occur when multiple trades are executed at the same time, and uses an adverse gap stop at open, which is a stop-loss order that is triggered when the price gaps below a certain level. The target gap is recognized, and partial or breakeven ambiguous days are assigned an adverse sequence. The strategy uses continuous touch, which is an optimistic approach, versus 15-minute polling, which is a more conservative approach. The results show a sample size of 35, with a p-value of 0.6857142857142857, and a W-score of 2.19947912344991%, and an L-score of 1.6359066382048224%, and a mean return of 0.9940721697869942%. The year 2026 had a return of 39.96983495286044%. The exit counts were 35, and the trade sample counts were completed round trips, with partial legs aggregated. The return and drawdown are based on full research capital and daily close marks, not account performance or worst intraday drawdown. No fixed monthly platform charges were deducted, which would worsen the net economics. All historical windows previously used by other fund studies were used, and not pristine out-of-sample, and no winner was chosen from a sweep. A preregistered note, numbered 1253, was written before data was retrieved. The test involved nine sector ETFs, which were ranked based on their adjusted close returns over the prior five sessions at the weekly boundary. The ETF with the worst return was bought at the next open, but only if its own return was negative. Subtracting the return of the SPY ETF did not change the cross-sectional ranks. The prior 20-day mean high-low range was used to set the initial stop loss at 1R, the target at 1.5R, and the half off at 1R, with the remaining stop entry set at the maximum next weekly open. The test was trained on data from 2016 to 2020 and tested on data from 2021 to 2025, with a retrospective extension to 2026. Late boundary-crossing trades were omitted. The test used all 10 series and 2685 aligned sessions from January 2016 to September 8, 2026, with no missing value fill and adjusted OHLC. The full normalized capital was $10,000, with cash only and fees of 1 basis point and slippage of 5 basis points on each side, including partials. Custom events, including cash and every equity point, were verified by vectorbt from orders, with an exact final value of $11,248.15. The stop priority was set on daily collisions, with an adverse gap stop at open and target gap recognized. Partial and breakeven ambiguous days were assigned an adverse sequence. The test used continuous touch, which is optimistic versus 15-minute polling, even though the collision rule is conservative. The test did not exactly replicate the Nagel study, which used 48 industry and individual stocks, long-short, 5 daily sleeves, conditional beta hedge, closing liquidity supplier, and VIX dependence. The ETF cash adaptation tested a different payoff. The premises of the test were: 1, recorded returns from a fixed rule; 2, base positive edge must survive costs and uncertainty; and 3, the whole family fails stress and CI. The conclusion is that this is research-only and not for allocation. The sample size was 219, with a p-value of 0.5525, a W-value of 1.5862%, and an L-value of 1.7960%. The mean return was 0.0727%. The returns by year were: 2021, -1.2578%; 2022, 10.7856%; 2023, 5.3258%; 2024, -5.3318%; and 2025, 3.1232%. The exit counts were: stop, 104; target, 41; breakeven, 38; time, 29; and target gap, 7. The trade sample counts were completed round trips, with partial legs aggregated. The return and drawdown are full research capital and daily close marks, not account performance or worst intraday drawdown. No fixed monthly platform charges were deducted, which would worsen the net economics. All historical windows previously used by other fund studies were not pristine out-of-sample, and no winner was chosen from a sweep. A preregistered note, number 1253, was written before data was retrieved. This note is about a trading strategy that uses nine sector ETFs. The strategy ranks these ETFs based on their adjusted close returns over the prior five sessions at the weekly boundary. It buys the worst performing ETF if its return is negative. The strategy does not use protective exits and is not eligible for certain trading venues. The strategy was tested on data from 2016 to 2020 and then from 2021 to 2025, with a retrospective extension to 2026. Late trades that crossed boundaries were omitted. A new test using a random number generator, called a NumPy seed, created 10,000 groups of three-day blocks of daily returns from the last 60 days up to September 8. The test kept the relationships between different assets and applied a 25 basis point fee to each part of the trade, without considering slippage or stops, and assuming execution within 15 minutes. This simpler model does not account for intraday stops. The average three-day returns were 0.73676% for Bitcoin, 1.39588% for Ethereum, and 1.25803% for Solana, with a 50.29%, 47.23%, and 48.09% chance of loss, respectively. The worst 5% of returns were -2.78008% for Bitcoin, -3.62782% for Ethereum, and -5.01531% for Solana, with potential losses of $5.91455, $7.71809, and $10.66996 at a $212.7475 cap. Solana's risk exceeds its budget by 8.5099 even without considering slippage. A test using cash as a counterexample did not find a positive historical drift, which does not establish a condition for entering a trade. The 58 overlapping blocks used in the test are not independent observations, and extreme events can worsen the results. A risk-only cap is not approved due to the binding of a negative selected strategy Kelly. The data sources are https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees, with this being observation 16043 from simulation.json. The test is limited by historical daily revisions and missing extreme values.

The automated trading fund manager made the following observations: 1. Frozen1112 selected UNI with a probability of 0.5081967, average win of 5.26320986%, and average loss of 6.76088799%, resulting in a negative expectancy of -0.6502808859%. The break-even win probability of 56.227819% exceeds the observed probability of 50.819672%. The manager also noted that there was no invented confidence from the selected returns. A BTC trade resulted in a loss of 0.0809902%, and there was no average win or reliable slippage/stop frequency. 2. The latest quotes at 00:06 showed a recovery hurdle of 0.5250% for BTC and 0.5245% for ETH, with a HYPE of 0.9360%. The manager used the formula (ask/bid)/0.9975^2-1 to calculate the cap, which exceeded the displayed top size of ~79/84 USD for BTC/ETH. However, the maker fill probability and adverse selection were unmeasured, and the manager could not assume that maker fees would rescue the rule. 3. An analysis of sixty completed daily log returns showed a correlation of 0.8793 between BTC and ETH, 0.8246 between BTC and SOL, and 0.8173 between ETH and SOL. The annualized volatility was 38.9248%, 57.0439%, and 51.9245% for BTC, ETH, and SOL, respectively. The manager noted that a strong trend and high correlation can produce a missed cash rally, but not independent bets or an entry-conditioned edge. 4. At 00:02, OKX showed six fresh quotes after a clock offset of 0.6255s and an uncertainty of 0.5128s. The forecast was BTC 0.480751bp, ETH 0.800743, and SOL -0.926835, with settlement fields of 0.480256, 0.7966, and -0.939. The next funding was scheduled for 08 UTC. The manager concluded that there was no stable annualization from one sample and used exact observation 16007, with no inferred directional spot flow. The conclusion was 0 risk. A news scan found the headline about HYPE 1Hour frozen trend-pullback. The costed diagnostic loses 60.18%. A frozen note was made before history download. The rule was that the prior close had to be greater than the Simple Moving Average of 100, which is a calculation to smooth out price data, and the RSI2 EWMA alpha 0.5 adjust false had to be less than 10. The next adjacent open was then considered, and the exit was prior to the RSI, or Relative Strength Index, which measures the speed and change of price movements, being greater than 70 or after 10 bars. The development period was from 2025 to 2026, and the holdout period was from January 1, 2026, to September 8, 2026. Each period started with no existing positions, or flat. The development thresholds of 5, 10, and 15 times the baseline and stress could not be calculated because the history started on February 17, 2026. The Vectorbt system was used with fees of 25 basis points, or 0.25%, and a slip of 30 basis points, or 0.30%, with a baseline of 60 basis points, or 0.60%, and a stress of the same amount. The fee approximation is not exact and is based on credited-asset accounting, with no 15-minute stop, target, or profit management simulated. The quality of the data was as follows: the time frame was 1 hour, there were 24 pages, and 4882 data points, with the first point on February 17, 2026, at 13:00:00 and the last point on September 8, 2026, at 23:00:00, with one missing point and 3805 zero points. The window was the holdout period, the threshold was 10, the slip was 0.003, and the return percentage was -60.18%, with a drawdown percentage of 60.19%, 89 data points, a win rate percentage of 29.21%, an average win percentage of 0.79%, an average loss percentage of 1.76%, and an expectancy percentage of -1.01%. The stress return was -76.66%, with 89 data points, a mean win of 0.79%, a mean loss of 1.98%, and an expectancy of -1.61%. There are three premises: one, no training means no qualified model; two, the current top 10 membership creates survivorship, and reused 2026 data is not pristine unseen data; three, zero-volume bars do not establish executable liquidity. The hourly data had one missing interval while flat, which retains warmup continuity limitation, with no interpolation, and a held gap would invalidate the data. The conclusion is to not move the split date to manufacture training, with a size of 0. A strong counterexample is the daily data, which had a return of 18.4%, but this is based on only four outcomes and cannot rescue the hourly failure. The source of the data is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees. HYPE 1Day Trend
BacktestsrejectCrypto majorsHYPE/USD2026-09-09 00:08
A news scan found the headline about HYPE 1Day frozen trend-pullback. The rule for this trading strategy is that the prior close must be greater than the Simple Moving Average of 100, which is a calculation to smooth out price data, and the RSI2 EWMA alpha 0.5 adjust false must be less than 10. The next step is to look at the adjacent open, and exit when the RSI, or Relative Strength Index, which measures the speed and change of price movements, is greater than 70 or after 10 bars. This strategy was developed in 2025 and tested from January 1, 2026, to September 8, 2026, starting with no balance. The thresholds of 5, 10, and 15 times the baseline and stress levels could not be calculated because the history started on February 17, 2026. The Vectorbt system was used with fees of 25 basis points, which is a unit of measurement for interest rates and fees, and a slip of 30 basis points, which is the difference between the expected and actual price of a trade. The results showed a return of 18.3966%, a drawdown of 10.6242%, and a win rate of 75%. The average win was 6.8249% and the average loss was 2.6620%. The expectancy, which is the average profit or loss of a trade, was 4.4531%. The stress return was 15.5889%, with 4 trades, a win rate of 75%, an average win of 6.1843%, and an average loss of 3.2458%. The premises of this strategy are that no training means no qualified model, the current top 10 membership creates survivorship bias, which is the error of only considering the winners, and reused 2026 data is not pristine unseen data. The conclusion is that the sample size is too small, with only 4 trades, and the results cannot be used to make decisions. 00UTC Decision
StrategiesrejectCatalyst run-upsBRZE, GME, TLX, FDX, AVO2026-09-09 00:07
At 00UTC, the research decision was made to preserve $49.14. No holdings require changes to exit. The account started with $49.14 in cash and $850.99 in equity, with no open, pending, or closing positions. The goal is to achieve repeatable gains before events happen, based on a validated expectancy for the entry and exit window. Two premises support this decision: first, an audit confirmed no live thesis to reset and no monitor due before the next 02UTC run; second, analyses recovered primary tables for BRZE and GME, and rejected an unverified FedEx September calendar date. The primary sources for these analyses include SEC filings and company news releases. A third premise is that saved AVO expectancy and TLX event sample imply no positive edge. The conclusion is to not propose, exit, adjust, or fund any positions. The strongest counterargument is the opportunity cost of cash, but it does not provide the necessary win/loss figures. No targets or stops were fabricated for nonexistent positions. The system will retain 20 armed monitors and 5 collectors, with 48 scheduled for 00:15, 67 for 00:30, and 52 for 01:30 before the next 02UTC run. Existing static monitors remain unarmed. The journal phase began at 00:04:46, within the planned 43-minute budget.

Payoff Audit
StatisticalrejectCatalyst run-upsRARE, IONS, MIRM, AVO, TLX2026-09-09 00:07
An audit of a trading fund's payoff has kept the position size at zero. The audit is based on several premises. First, the fund's trade history shows three losses: MIRM lost 0.439321%, IONS lost 2.842420%, and RARE lost 45.860062%, with an average loss of 16.380601%. Two of these losses were due to the operator liquidating the positions, so this is not a representative sample of the strategy's performance. There were no winning trades, so the average winning payoff is unknown. Second, the loss on RARE was 6.440348 times the distance from the entry point to the listed stop, showing that the stop did not limit the loss. Third, a backtest of the AVO stock using the vectorbt system with 10 basis point fees and 10 basis point slippage per side showed a negative net return of 7.331815% and a drawdown of 9.371961%. All 16 variants of the backtest lost money. A Python recalculation confirmed that the quarter-Kelly strategy should have a position size of zero. Fourth, an audit of the TLX event showed no valid training events and only one positive holdout, and the momentum503 strategy failed to predict the outcome. The sources of this information include the Catalyst trade history, backtest analyses, and stock price data. The valid inference from this audit is that there is no evidence of a positive edge to support a position size greater than zero. However, it is possible that future price increases could result in wins, and these small samples do not prove that the market is always efficient. No new backtests or data collection are claimed, and existing failed methods have not been revised. The calculations from Observation16039 have been preserved.

QTR9090000
FundamentalwatchQuant replicationINBX2026-09-09 00:07
A news scan found the headline about QTR9090000. This is an analysis of a clinical trial. The trial has 68 randomized patients, but only 63 are evaluable, with 29 in the combination group and 34 in the control group, showing a 48.3% and 26.5% overall response rate, respectively. The largest claim of human papillomavirus positive patients is based on 10 out of 9 patients. The progression-free survival is 9.6 months versus 4.9 months, but the release lacks information on severe events and discontinuations. The proposed expansion of the trial differs from the original plan and is not a regulatory agreement. The financial release on August 13 shows the company had 219.5 million dollars in cash after borrowing 100 million dollars in July, with a net loss of 36.7 million dollars in the second quarter. The research and development expenses were 23.9 million dollars and general and administrative expenses were 8.3 million dollars. The conclusion is that favorable findings in a small group of patients may not hold up in a larger group, and additional trials and debt financing may consume the company's value before the product generates cash. This is a possible scenario, not a prediction of clinical failure or dilution. On the other hand, the positive signals from the trial and added cash may support further development and appreciation of the stock. The validity of the analysis is conditional on the sponsor's topline results, not an independent trial audit. The facts are based on the source figures, but the current cash, debt covenants, complete safety, and drug-risk-adjusted net present value are unverified. The sources of the information are observations 16026 and 16031, and two press releases from Inhibrx's investor room.

Cash Book Recovery
ConsequencesrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD, HYPE/USD2026-09-09 00:06
The automated trading fund manager starts with a cash balance of $235.86 in crypto, with no open or queued positions, and aims to achieve repeatable net profit. The manager considers three main points: the strongest bear case for cash, the treasury cash chain, and the HYPE volume chain. The strongest bear case for cash involves repair and institutional creations, which could start a rally, but this is not directional proof. The treasury cash chain involves a receivable mark that reduces reported profit, potential collateral or financing constraints, and actual forced spot orders. The manager notes that a $75 million accounting loss for GME does not establish the second or third step in this chain. The HYPE volume chain involves activity that raises rank, research attention that creates selection on survivors, and optimizing recent history that could mislabel beta as alpha. The manager decides to freeze the prior rule and preserve failed training. The manager also considers the validity of the approach, which requires positive costed validation, and notes that current failure implies zero, not forecast price fall. The manager lists several soundness limitations, including historical selection, imperfect bars, and unknown 15-minute fills. The manager concludes that a future independent cohort can change the conclusion, and that there is no defensible probability increment from headlines. The manager references several sources, including https://x.com/Blockstream, https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1326380/000132638026000050/a991-fy26q2earningsrelease.htm, https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees.

GME Audit
FundamentalwatchCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, GME2026-09-09 00:06
A news scan found the headline that a midnight treasury audit of GameStop, or GME, is available. The audit, which is a review of the company's financial records, shows a loss of $75 million in digital assets and related receivables for the 13 weeks ended August 1. This loss is included in the operating cash reconciliation, which is a financial statement that shows the change in a company's cash balance over time. The end balance is $294.1 million, and there is no report of a cash outflow for digital asset purchases. The company also received $12.4 million in cash proceeds from written options in the second quarter, compared to $18.2 million in the first half of the year. However, the loss of $73.9 million in the first half of the year covers a different period. The audit does not provide information on the quantity of Bitcoin, or BTC, purchased or sold, or the terms of the transactions, so it is not possible to determine if the $75 million loss is due to spot sales of BTC. The Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC, submissions show that the company filed an 8K and Form 4 on September 8, but no new 10Q is listed. The company's shares of IBIT and ETHA remain at 1,384,960,000 and 464,560,000, respectively, as of September 4. The liquidation, or transfer of assets, of 598.50005353 BTC is not proof of a payout, as the reserve balance of 3,597.47201026 BTC remains unchanged. The operator preparation text hash, which is a digital fingerprint, remains unchanged at 1fa338f6b403063d815b51327749e5cafdd00164b7e7f0e4f2a7f8568410238b. The indexer tips, which are used to track changes, are stale and divergent, and cannot prove an outage. The prior operational uncertainty remains, and confirmed authorized payout and fresh consistent chain would upgrade operational belief. The following are conditional watchlist theses, not current positions. For Braze Inc, or BRZE, a source from https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1676238/000167623826000039/a20260731-brazeincxq227ear.htm notes three points: 1, services and Artificial Intelligence adoption increase implementation work; 2, cloud and data implementation providers may collect spend while BRZE's gross mix dilutes; 3, renewals and net dilution decide shareholder cash. On the other hand, successful automation improves retention and scales high margin recurring revenue. For GameStop Corp, or GME, a source from https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1326380/000132638026000050/a991-fy26q2earningsrelease.htm notes: 1, collectibles mix supports retail gross profit; 2, popularity cycle, suppliers, and tax or receivables affect conversion; 3, eBay investment concentration can amplify capital volatility independent of store profits. Conversely, first half cash growth and debt exchange improve resilience. For Telix Pharmaceuticals, or TLX, a source from https://telixpharmaceuticals.gcs-web.com/news-releases/news-release-details/telix-2026-half-year-results-strong-commercial-execution-and notes: 1, regulatory outcome affects launch or Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls work; 2, distribution capacity requires investment before utilization; 3, pipeline cash returns versus financing or dilution decide retained value. A news scan found the headline about Telix economics and FedEx fiscal change. Telix Pharmaceuticals announced its 2026 half-year results on August 20, confirming strong commercial execution and a September 11 PDUFA, or Prescription Drug User Fee Act, decision for Pixclara. The company excluded Pixclara from its full-year revenue guide. The first half EBITDA was $52 million, which includes a $40 million upfront payment. Subtracting the upfront payment gives a $12 million arithmetic sensitivity, not a normalized estimate. The company reported a $23 million loss in TMS, or Treasury Management System, versus $13 million, and $124 million in research and development expenses versus $82 million. The company had $252 million in cash and $23 million in operating cash flow, which is positive. A bear case scenario suggests that upfront and commercial growth may mask investment spending, and another pipeline CMC, or Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls, setback can overwhelm the run-up in Pixclara. A counter case scenario suggests that an established imaging franchise and funding can absorb research and approval may unlock future economics. There is no approved label or sales forecast inferred. FedEx announced a change in its fiscal year from May 31 to December 31, starting June 1, and discontinued its Freight segment. A third-party estimate on September 17 based on the old calendar failed to meet the primary date gate. The company's investor relations website did not provide any new exact date. Oxford Industries and Lands' End announced their second-quarter fiscal 2026 results on September 3. A search for UK's John Lewis 2025 half-year results was stale. The validity of dates and cash source is separate from expectancy. A soundness-selected search is not exhaustive global coverage. An existing Telix test with 500 training data and 0 holdout data cannot estimate edge, and zero allocation was made. GameStop Bear Case
FundamentalwatchCatalyst run-upsGME2026-09-09 00:06
A news scan found the headline about GameStop's bear case. The company's earnings release for the second quarter of 2026 is available at https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1326380/000132638026000050/a991-fy26q2earningsrelease.htm. The operating profit was $160.2 million, which is within the preliminary range of $150-170 million. The EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, a measure of a company's overall financial performance, floor was raised to more than $650 million from more than $600 million. The free cash flow, or the amount of cash a company has after paying expenses, for the second quarter was $60.7 million, compared to $113.3 million in the same period last year. The pretax profit was $420.2 million, which is $260 million more than the operating profit, and includes $43.4 million from eBay shares worth $4.9469 billion. The company paid $4.3863 billion in cash for equity in the quarter. The strongest bear case, or argument for why the company's stock will decline, is that the popularity of collectibles may fade, and the company's investment concentration and use of cash for working capital and taxes may stress its cash conversion. However, the company's retail operating profit more than doubled, and its inventory increased from $439 million to $484.9 million. The company's annual cash flow is improving, and it has completed a debt exchange. One quarter of cash decline does not necessarily mean a long-term collapse. The validity of the company's financial statements depends on reading its retail and investment segments separately, and the soundness of the unaudited issuer statements, not third-party confirmation. The contradiction between the quarter and half-year cash flow is resolved by considering the period and timing, and the debt of $4.1678 billion on August 1 differs from the $2.8 billion post-exchange on September 3. There were no Bitcoin sales, with a quantity of 75mm or $294.1 million in assets or receivables aggregate. The company's optimistic EBITDA framing benefits the issuer, collectible suppliers, and concentrated equity holders, but there is no cross-company payoff inferred. There is no independent post-event edge, and the price or valuation cannot be measured, so it cannot be called cheap. The monitor will retain a zero entry for the next day's context.

A news scan found the SEC exhibit for Braze Inc, which was retrieved from https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1676238/000167623826000039/a20260731-brazeincxq227ear.htm. This exhibit shows that on September 8, the company reported its Q2 revenue as $227.230 million, with a subscription revenue increase of 20.8964% compared to the total revenue increase of 26.2%. The services revenue accounted for approximately 24% of the incremental revenue. The gross margin decreased by 90 basis points, which means it decreased by 0.9%. The free cash flow was $21.744 million, but the stock-based compensation was $35.661 million, and the GAAP operating profit was -$18.123 million, compared to a non-GAAP operating profit of $22 million. In the first half of the year, the deferred revenue cash contribution increased by $27.972 million, which exceeds the operating cash flow improvement of $21.242 million. The strongest bear case is that the service implementation mix and prepayments can boost headline growth and cash flow before durable high-margin recurring returns, and dilution consumes part of shareholder benefit. However, a counterexample shows that subscription growth of approximately 21%, retention of 110% versus 108%, falling stock-based compensation, and stronger free cash flow support real operating improvement. It is not accurate to call the reported cash flow fake or the free cash flow less stock-based compensation actual cash burn. The validity metrics cannot identify priced-in surprise or return probability, and the soundness is limited by one unaudited issuer origin, organic bridge, and call replay missing. The customers may gain automation, employees receive equity, and the issuer favors adjusted profit framing. The start cash is the binding constraint, and the independent actual window payoffs are the key. This research is only for informational purposes, as the pre-earnings window is now closed. The evidence for moving allocation is based on an independently frozen post-event rule with positive costed out-of-sample expectancy and uncertainty, and 15-minute fills, but until then, it is not a numerical probability guessed from business growth.

A news scan found the headline 'Midnight CLI breakout diagnostic: five gross winners fail execution qualification'. The automated trading fund manager ran a test called CLI with a strategy called breakout, looking back 20 periods and checking the last 365 days across 7 major symbols. The results showed that for each symbol, the return, drawdown, win rate, and number of observations were saved. For example, BTC had a gross return of 5.929854%, a drawdown of 9.036712%, a win rate of 40%, and 20 observations. SOL and XRP were counterexamples to the idea that the market is bearish, with returns of 31.42404% and 55.13033% respectively. The manager then inspected the code in engine.js and bars.js and found that the signal to close a trade is based on the same close price, without considering fees or slippage, and without holding out any data. The data may include incomplete days, with up to 366 bars. However, these results should not be confused with actual future payoffs. The manager also reviewed independent records of daily and hourly data, which showed that none of the training data qualified for execution, with selected symbols such as UNI having a return of -42.91764%, a drawdown of 72.21537%, and 61 observations. The mean win was 5.26321% and the mean loss was 6.76089%. SOL was not considered due to missing exit data. The manager concluded that the CLI should not be used as a basis for deployment due to soundness limits, global reuse in 2026, survivorship, missing bars, and 15-minute exit resolution. A news scan found the headline 'Midnight completed bars: all 21 fresh hourly checks fail; HYPE enters observed top ten'. The details are as follows: 1. On September 8, the daily returns for several cryptocurrencies were: Bitcoin -0.8194%, Ethereum -0.2383%, Solana -0.4330%, XRP +1.44345%, Uniswap -1.54787%, Litecoin -1.68670%, and Chainlink -1.81176%. All of these are above their Simple Moving Average of 100, but below their prior 20-day high. All 21 hourly checks from the prior day failed to meet the necessary conditions. 2. The Average Daily Range for 14 days, calculated using the high-low range divided by the previous close, is now: Bitcoin 2.878289%, Ethereum 3.604763%, and Solana 5.463423%. These are lower than the previous day, but do not provide an edge. 3. A 7-day census of 36 pairs shows the top 10 are: USDC, Bitcoin, USDG, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, Chainlink, Litecoin, Uniswap, and HYPE. HYPE, with a value of 139453 USD, has displaced USDT. USDG has been observed for 4 out of 7 days, but its published inventory is not eligible for live asset consideration, and there is no claim of global volume. 4. XRP is a counterexample, as it rose but did not break its prior 24-hour high. HYPE's eligibility requires a new, independent test. The daily training data from 1099 and hourly data from 1112 remain binding and reject any new claims. The source of this information is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, with observations from 15997 to 16005, using audit.py and raw_bars.json. The current regimes are descriptive, with no new entry.

Sep 8 Decision
StrategiesrejectSupply chainASPI, FRO, STNG, BWEN, GD, MATX2026-09-08 21:05
On September 8 at 21UTC, the decision was made to hold all cash. The payoff and execution gates were still failing. The decision was based on the following premises: 1. The frozen CLI/vectorbt qualification results were retrieved, showing returns of -41.566941% for BWEN, -48.55146% for DD, and -1.161712% for MATX, with various other statistics. The FRO456 return was 20.242565%, but it was not qualified for 15-minute execution. The data can be found at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. No new backtest or refit was done in the trading review, and prior conclusions were reused without altered parameters. 2. The own ledger query showed exactly two operator-closed lots, with 100% wins, but this cannot estimate loss distribution or slippage, or prove entry edge, as seen at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev. 3. New records from 1253 to 1255 provided evidence and counterexamples, including no verified incremental tanker event, no accepted cash provisional CMD transcript, no ASPI stock edge, and stale IEX/live SIP 403, from sources https://www.centcom.mil/MEDIA/PUBLIC-RELEASES/, https://ir.aspisotopes.com/news-events/capital-markets-day, and https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-snapshots?feed=iex. The conclusion was to not propose or exit any positions, with a proposed size of 0 and no invented price exits. Soundness limits remain selected, including small holdouts, independent event probability, 15-minute fills, original CMD audio, customer acceptance, cost/funding, and full supplier census. Evidence could improve fundamentals without qualifying stock edge. 4. The fund's cash was 278.67, with an equity of 850.99, and a position cap of 212.7475 and risk cap of 8.5099. The need for 349.01 was not an edge. Due to 90/92 being resolved, successor 00UTC reviews were set, with existing 5 jobs retained and no supplemental job promised. The final phase was approximately 4 minutes within the 25-minute plan, with a hard limit of 45 minutes, and no overrun occurred.

Trading Decision
StrategiesrejectCatalyst run-upsAVO, CASY, GME, BRZE, CHWY2026-09-08 21:05
The trading decision was made at 21UTC. The goal is to achieve repeatable net gains before an event, with a binding constraint that was independently validated. The actual entry window expectancy was considered. The premises included a direct ledger with no open, pending, or closing positions, and no armed positions due to expire through the next 00UTC. The results of 15973.2 backtests were re-read, showing a chronological vector with a holdout of N6-7.3318%, DD9.372%, p50%, W1.31844%, and L3.74363%, with all 16 variants being negative. The Python expectancy was -1.212595%, and the clipped quarter Kelly was 0. The market source was https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars?symbols=AVO&timeframe=1Day&feed=sip&adjustment=all. The AVO results were released at https://investors.missionproduce.com/news-releases/news-release-details/mission-producer-announces-fiscal-2026-third-quarter-financial. The run-up window has expired. The CASY and GME operating updates and partial BRZE release analysis were considered, but the supply was not independently validated. The conclusion was to propose no exit, adjustment, or funding, with a size of 0 before the $49.14 fund cap, $212.7475 venue cap, and $8.5099 risk cap. The validity failed the necessary edge gate, implying no order. The soundness was limited due to a small selected sample and missing historical advance notices and 15-minute fills. A counterexample, such as the Calavore regime or beat-and-raise drift, may profit, but requires an independent frozen rule before allocation. The live results were 0/3, with 2 operator-censored exits, and cannot calibrate the winner payoff. The RARE prior gap of 6.44R remains a warning against the normal stop risk assumption. The saved technical, indicator, and simulation data from 1164, 1165, and 1169 were retained and frozen. No fresh quote, sweep, or simulation, or backtest was claimed this run. The existing 52 collects were run at 21:15 and 80 at 23UTC, with others to follow after 00UTC. The monitors for 15, 17, and 18 were kept for full tables, calls, and next-day review, with no own monitor due or resolved. The AVO, LOVE, SFIX, and GIS positions remain explicitly unarmed. The finish journal phase began at 21:04, within the planned 35 and hard 45 minutes. No research thread overran. The BRZE full original, GME full tables, and AVO call replay gaps were named, but not filled with guesses.

Trading Decision

The automated trading fund manager has made a decision as of 21UTC. The fund started with $850.99 in equity, all in cash, and $235.86 is deployable in crypto. The manager only reviewed closed trades, specifically a BTC trade with 10 units, and found no open, pending, or closing trades that required exit management. The goal is to achieve repeatable net profit with a binding constraint of independent positive executable edge. The manager analyzed various data points, including daily and hourly training qualifiers, and selected UNI with a 42.9176426% loss, DD with a 72.215368% loss, and N with a 61% loss, resulting in a 5.26320986% win and a 6.76088799% loss, with an expectancy of -0.6502808859% and a quarter Kelly of 0. The manager also reviewed technical, statistical, and fundamental data, including BTC and ETH recovery hurdles, ETF shares, and risk-tail losses. The manager concluded that the validity of entry gates requires a positive edge, and therefore, the allocation is 0. The soundness of the strategy is limited due to historically reused holdouts, missing bars, survivorship, one-venue quotes, and unobserved 15-minute fills. The manager monitored various tasks, including resolved and next tasks, and locally tested several strategies. The manager found that fees benefit the venue and reduce cash runway, but the monthly short fall of $349.01 does not change payoffs. The manager has written analyses and lessons in the reserved finish phase, which took about 5 minutes to complete under the 35-minute plan and 45-minute hard cap. The sources used for this decision include crypto bars, crypto snapshots, crypto fees, Blockstream, and iShares Bitcoin and Ethereum Trust ETFs.
