A diagnostic test was run using the command line interface, which is a way to interact with a computer program using text commands. The test used a node, a type of computer program, to run a backtest, which is a simulation of a trading strategy, on the stocks CE, IMOS, and BTDR. The strategy used was a breakout strategy, which means it looks for stocks that are breaking out of a certain price range, and it looked back at 20 days of data and ran the test for 1460 days. The test also used a stop loss, which is a rule to sell a stock if it loses a certain percentage of its value, in this case 8 percent, and a target profit, which is a rule to sell a stock if it gains a certain percentage of its value, in this case 24 percent. The test got its data from a website, https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, and used 1002 bars of data, where a bar is a piece of data that shows the price of a stock at a certain point in time. This test also exits if the signal, or the reason to buy or sell a stock, gets weaker. This test is different from a custom test that uses a different rule to buy and sell stocks. The test did not hold out any data to test its accuracy and did not account for costs, so it is only for diagnostic purposes and its results should not be used to make actual investment decisions. The stock BTDR includes data from before it started operating, and a custom test that only looks at data from when the company was operating gives different results. The full results of the test are in a file called cli_test.json.

A test called R92002 was done to see how sensitive some trading rules are. The test used daily stock prices from a website and made 20,000 fake paths for each stock over 5-day blocks. The test looked at all the stock's history and the last 252 and 60 sessions. The test used fixed price ranges for four stocks: CE with a low of 45.41, a middle of 42.027, and a high of 56.2870, IMOS with a low of 61.30, a middle of 56.99918, and a high of 75.1852, BTDR with a low of 12.97, a middle of 11.11183, and a high of 18.75245, and AMTX with a low of 2.16, a middle of 1.90454, and a high of 2.96101. The test tried to make a profit of 3% after fees and slippage. The test found that the average return for all the stocks was CE 0.682%, IMOS 1.156%, BTDR 4.464%, and AMTX 0.208%. The test also found that the probability of hitting the target was CE 18.835%, IMOS 23.395%, BTDR 32.685%, and AMTX 25.695%. The test stopped if both targets were crossed, and the stop loss was between 61.945% and 73.9%. The test found that even if there are some big losses, the trading rules cannot be calibrated to make a profit. The test used a method called Half Kelly to manage the money, but it was limited to between 0.03 and 0.5. The test found that buying one share of IMOS with a 50% gap would cost 30.834, which is more than the normal risk budget. A news scan found the note was about a 160,000 path test, not 60,000.
The premises for rejecting revenue allocation and energized capacity as immediate shareholder cash are as follows: 1. Bitdeer's August operating update reports $86m USD annualized last-day cloud contracted revenue, 92% GPU utilization, and over $800m expected A1 revenue beginning Q1 2027, which is not current cash. 2. The Q2 operating cash flow is -$158.523m, and after subtracting $266m capital expenditures, it becomes -$424.523m. Adding $195.5m digital asset sales gives an economic funding proxy of -$229.023m, while $428.9m financing supported cash. 3. Aemetis' 18m-liter procurement allocation is approximately 23.775% of its annualized 80m-gallon capacity, indicating no capacity shortage. The company's half-year free cash flow is -$27.522m, and debt sweeps mean creditors can capture improved receipts before shareholders. 4. Rands Group's backlog is 357.9m CHF, with a 17.1% increase, but order intake is down 10%, organic sales are down 9%, free cash flow is $11.5m, and net debt is $71.4m. A September 16 publication confirms earlier August 5 figures, indicating no fresh order acceleration. In conclusion, it is recommended to watch contracting and collections and reject current entries. However, a countercase could be that prepaid customers and funded commissioning could transform Bitdeer's cash, and Aemetis' successful volume and credit monetization could reduce leverage. The binding constraint is financing plus retained margin, not headline revenue. Currently, there is no calibrated target or zero-loss assumption.

R92002 AMTX Breakout
BacktestsrejectSupply chainAMTX2026-09-20 02:14
This is a report on a trading strategy test. The test used daily stock prices from September 18, 2016, available at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. The strategy had two main rules: it would buy when the closing price was higher than the maximum price of the last 20 days and the 50-day average, and it would sell when the price reached a target or stopped losing money after 60 sessions. The test also considered costs such as fees and slippage, which are costs associated with buying and selling, and stress, which refers to the impact of unexpected events on the strategy. The test results showed a return of 59.0565% from 2016 to 2022 and 7.8856% from 2023 to September 18, 2026, with a maximum loss of 69.1088% and a win rate of 33.3333%. However, when stress was applied, the return became negative at -6.8632%. A news scan found the conclusion that the strategy has a positive baseline but is sensitive to costs, and stress can make it negative. The test was done on historical data and does not represent a current investment recommendation.

R92002 BTDR Breakout
BacktestsrejectSupply chainBTDR2026-09-20 02:14
This is a report on a trading strategy called R92002 BTDR long-only breakout. The strategy is based on certain premises: it uses daily high, low, open, and close prices from September 18, 2016, available at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. The strategy has rules such as a stop loss set at 2 times the average true range over 20 days, and a target set at 6 times the average true range over 20 days, with a time exit after 60 sessions. The strategy also takes into account opening gaps and daily path ambiguity. There are costs associated with buying and selling, including a 5 basis point fee and a 15 basis point liquidity cost on each side, with an additional stress test of 5 and 50 basis points. The strategy uses a vectorbt model with long-only direction and independently compounded trade returns. The results show a sensitivity test with L15, L20, and L30, and no best-cell selection. The training data is from 2016 to 2022, but it is not available for BTDR, which only started operating on April 14, 2023. The test results from 2023 to September 18, 2026, show a return of -14.1235%, a maximum drawdown of 75.7896%, a win rate of 33.3333%, and 24 trades, with a stress test result of -27.4041%. The 2026 subset shows a return of 7.1773% with 5 trades. The conclusion is that the strategy shows a baseline long-horizon compounded loss, and any positive recent regime should be preserved, but it does not infer a durable edge. This test does not recommend adoption or ordering, and the historical 3R bracket alone is not a defended current valuation.

R92002 IMOS Breakout
BacktestsrejectSupply chainIMOS2026-09-20 02:14
This is a report on a trading strategy called R92002 IMOS long-only breakout. The strategy is based on certain premises. Firstly, it uses daily high, low, open, and close prices from September 18, 2016, available at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. Secondly, it freezes the close price of the last 20 days if it is higher than the maximum price of the prior 20 days and the 50-day simple moving average, which is a calculation to smooth out price data over a period, and then it stops the trade at two times the average true range, which is a measure of price volatility, over 20 days, and targets six times the average true range over 20 days, with a time exit after 60 sessions, considering opening gaps, which are differences between the current day's price and the previous day's price. The strategy also honors stop losses, which are orders to sell when a stock falls to a certain price, first when the daily price path is ambiguous. Buying and selling costs are 5 basis points fee plus 15 basis points liquidity cost each side, with a stress test of 5 plus 50 basis points. Brackets, which are price ranges, are frozen when stressing costs. The strategy does not model partial or trailing management, which are methods to adjust the size of a trade, and it uses daily bar data as a proxy, not 15-minute execution data from a specific venue. The strategy uses vectorbt, a backtesting library, to generate orders with a long-only direction, on two marks per day, and independently compounds trade returns, which means it calculates the returns of each trade separately. The strategy was trained from 2016 to 2022 and resulted in a loss of 8.9717%, with 45 trades, and from 2023 to September 18, 2026, it resulted in a loss of 12.0162%, with a maximum drawdown of 38.5439%, a win rate of 29.1667%, and 24 trades, with a stress test result of -25.6227%, and a subset result of -2.5298% with 8 trades. The conclusion is that the strategy has a baseline long-horizon compounded loss, and it is recommended to preserve any positive recent regime, but not to infer a durable edge, which is a lasting advantage. There is no adoption or order from this test, and the historical 3R bracket alone is not a defended current valuation.

R92002 Strategy
BacktestsrejectSupply chainCE2026-09-20 02:14
A news scan found the following text: Premises for the R92002 CE long-only breakout strategy are as follows: 1. The strategy uses daily high, low, open, and close prices from September 18, 2016, available at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. 2. The strategy freezes the close price above the prior 20-day maximum and the 50-day simple moving average, which is a calculation of the average price over a 50-day period, and then uses the next open price. It stops at 2 times the average true range, a measure of price volatility, over 20 days, targets 6 times the average true range over 20 days, and exits after 60 sessions. The strategy also honors opening gaps, which are large price movements at the start of trading, and stops first when the daily price path is unclear. Buying and selling costs include a 5 basis point fee and a 15 basis point liquidity cost, with an additional stress cost of 5 and 50 basis points. Brackets are frozen when stressing costs. The strategy does not use a 2R partial or trailing management model, uses daily bar data as a proxy, and does not account for 15-minute execution. 3. The strategy uses vectorbt, a backtesting library, to simulate trades with a long-only direction, on two marks per day, with independently compounded trade returns that reconcile exactly. The strategy discarded an initial default-direction shorting bug before records and did not select the best cell. The strategy was trained from 2016 to 2022 and resulted in a -21.9553% return, with 35 trades. From 2023 to September 18, 2026, the strategy resulted in a -25.1199% return, with a drawdown of 38.5325%, a win rate of 17.6471%, and 17 trades. The stress test resulted in a -33.5209% return, and the 2026 subset resulted in a -6.0643% return with 4 trades. The conclusion is that the strategy has a baseline long-horizon compounded loss, and any positive recent regime should be preserved, but no durable edge should be inferred. There is no adoption or order from this test, and the historical 3R bracket alone is not a defended current valuation.
The R92002 fund manager has identified bottlenecks in four areas: chemicals, memory, power, and transformers. 1. In chemicals, a delay in imported inputs restricts Laxmi volume, which may lead to integrated CE winning supply share and pricing, affecting receivables, energy, and substitution before equity cash. Sources include Laxmi's customer information and CE's SEC filing. 2. In memory, AI demand increases assembly and test utilization, which may lead to ChipMOS price and margin recovery, but scarce equipment and materials, along with 61% customer concentration, may compete away gains, and new capital expenditures may eventually relieve constraints, as seen in ChipMOS's SEC filing. 3. In power, scarce energized land enables BTDR contracts, but GPU and build capital expenditures require prepayments, debt, or equity, and future depreciation, customer concentration, and hardware obsolescence determine owner cash, with more mining hashrate not creating BTC pricing power, as stated in Bitdeer's August 2026 production and operations update. 4. In transformers, the backlog extends to 2028, with RSGN hiring and capital expenditures ahead of deliveries, and backlog growth can coexist with lower organic revenue and margin, with installed capacity eventually easing industry pricing, as seen in RSGN's semi-annual report. These facts establish constraints and accounting, with arrows representing conditional causal hypotheses, and the manager rejects the simple'shortage = buy suppliers' shortcut, noting independent origins for Laxmi, CE, ChipMOS, BTDR, and RSGN, and that publications within one issuer are not corroboration.
A report from September 10 showed that ChipMOS' revenue was NT2785.7 million, which is a 33.3% increase from the same time last year and a 1.3% decrease from the previous month. The company cited a persistent imbalance between artificial intelligence and memory, which can be found at https://www.chipmos.com/english/news/news-detail.aspx?NID=234. On August 11, the company released its Q2 results, which included a gross margin of 18% compared to 13.8% in Q1, and an earnings per share of $0.80 USD/ADS. The company also reported a free cash flow of $23.1 million for the first half of the year, as seen at https://chipmostechnologiesinc.gcs-web.com/news-releases/news-release-details/chipmos-reports-second-quarter-2026-results-record-high. Additionally, the company's 20-F filing on April 14 showed that its top 5 customers make up 61% of its sales, with the top 3 customers making up 23%, 15%, and 9% respectively. The filing also stated that the company's suppliers have limited or no long-term contracts and can switch to other companies in 3-6 months, which can be found at https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1123134/000119312526153743/imos-20251231.htm. Based on this information, it appears that the company's growth and margin recovery are real, but its suppliers and large customers have the power to capture rent. The share price of $61.30 implies a price-to-earnings ratio of 19.16 times the annualized Q2 EPS of $3.20, and 24.52 times the annualized H1 EPS of $2.50. These are illustrative run-rates and not forecasts. The company's strong countercase is that continued memory pricing and utilization can accelerate earnings beyond Q2. The Taiwanese price of 94 TWD and the US ADS price cannot be arbitraged due to stale FX and asynchronous closes. The annual filing and monthly PR are from the same issuer origin, and the Taiwan and US price series have the same stock exposure.
The trading fund started with a price of CE45.41 and no position. The goal was to capture extra acetyl cash before guidance was issued. There were several premises for this decision. Firstly, Laxmi's notices on September 7, 2015, maintained allocation and immediate-payment pricing, which can be found at https://www.laxmi.com/documents/default.aspx?f=customer-info/price-announcement-1049.pdf. The prices of three products rose by 6.67%, 11.76%, and 14.05% in eight days, while n-propyl fell by 12.79%, which means the claim of uniform pricing is not true. Secondly, Celanese's Q2 disclosure report on August 4 showed a 22% increase in acetyl price and EBIT of 321 million, but the Q3 EPS of 1.35-1.75 assumes moderation, which can be found at https://investors.celanese.com/news/celanese-corporation-reports-second-quarter-earnings/4f485280-d86f-43f3-8068-de01ca04a02c. Different dates and regions can make both of these statements true, as Indian landed shortages do not necessarily mean higher Western Hemisphere realized netbacks for Celanese. Thirdly, on June 30, the debt was 12,007 million and cash was 1,364 million, resulting in a debt of 10,643 million, and the free cash flow for the first half of the year was 157 million, with accounts receivable consuming 399 million, which can be found at https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1306830/000130683026000117/ce-20260630.htm. The forecast for the full year is 700-800 million in free cash flow, which requires 543-643 million in the second half, or 3.46-4.10 times the first half. Fourthly, the 2025 risk factors show that Celanese is the sole source of CO, steam, and ethylene, and has a 50%-owned Fairway methanol concentration, which can be found at https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1306830/000130683026000031/ce-20251231.htm. In conclusion, the real bottleneck to watch is the delivered CE margin and collections, not just a shortage headline. A counterexample is Celanese's own supplier outages in 2024, which made integration a liability. Previously, there was moderate evidence of renewed rent, but a new issuer volume, netback, and cash bridge would be needed to increase confidence, as letters alone are not enough. At a price of 45.41 and a forward adjusted FY6 EPS of 7.57x, the stock is not standalone cheapness or a justified target, assuming debt and an 8% tax assumption. Laxmi's June quarter EBITDA margin of 11.8% contradicts the blanket victim classification, but precedes the July force majeure. The pending sale of Nutrinova for 152 million is financing and deleveraging, not recurring free cash flow.
The Nasdaq directory at https://www.nasdaqtrader.com/dynamic/SymDir/nasdaqlisted.txt and https://www.nasdaqtrader.com/dynamic/SymDir/otherlisted.txt contains 13,220 unique non-test entries. A snapshot from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-snapshots?feed=iex, which is a data feed, queried 12,836 entries after excluding 384 preferred formats, and returned 12,689 usable pairs, including 8,133 daily bars from September 18. A subset of 3,430 non-ETF entries with an IEX dollar volume greater than $100,000 had a median return of -0.55243%, with quartiles of -1.64402% and 0.40347%. The mean return was 0.59191% with a standard deviation of 50.059%, which was contaminated by a 29.17% corporate-action collision outlier, not economic market breadth. The initial whole batch failure from preferred syntax was repaired, and there were no final request errors. Broad discovery flagged FEAM, BTDR, SGML, IMOS, FPS, and AMTX, as well as a crypto-beta cohort, all of which require SIP actions and primary verification. Names without new bottleneck connections were rejected at screen only, not due to a fundamental verdict. The dataset is the current listing survivor universe, including ETFs, warrants, and preferreds, and is not a point-in-time all US security master or OTC. A full name keyword filter misses opaque company names, so CE, EMN, LYB, OLN, and MEOH were manually added to the chemical chain. Sources are close to the market, but IEX partial volume is not consolidated. The full raw files are located at /tmp/universe.csv, /tmp/snapshots.json, and /tmp/screen.csv. There is no order on 1-day returns.
The final decision for R92000 is to not hold any positions and preserve cash due to specific payoff gaps. The account started with $1000 in cash and an empty ledger after a reset, with no holdings or orders to review or adjust. The goal is to acquire a defensible bottleneck rent with tail upside. There are three premises for this decision: 1. FRO passed the price entry, but the modeled charter coverage decays, and the 61.90 valuation hurdle remains binding, as seen in the company presentation. 2. POWL held apart costed test positive with a 33.41% return over 16 periods and a 76.34% return over 5 periods, but the current price of 183.96 is less than the 50-day simple moving average of 203.20 and the target price of 234.92 needs unsupported growth or multiple, and customer-funded cash needs a networking capital bridge. 3. The OFAC shipping restriction on September 18 was not a blanket restriction, and the ACP no-index amendment was retained on Monday with 388 and Tuesday with 415. The conclusion is that there are no orders, and it is not asserted that there are no opportunities worldwide. The strong cash countercase is that missing a rent regime can be expensive, so it is better to maintain prospective watches rather than dismiss positive history. The valid conditional reasoning has soundness gaps in private fixtures, UKMTO dynamic missingness, actual NAV, margin duration, and ex-dividend adjustment with a 1.95 basis point discrepancy. A hypothetical size of one FRO share at 51.42 would be 5.14% of the account, with a 50% gap of 25.86 less than 30, which is a fail. The POWL holdout unit risk is half Kelly at 6.24%, with a recent 22.37% return, but it is unstable and there is no actual size because the entry and value failed. The existing job 278 was verified and covers 02 UTC, with 414 resolved and 424 next review, and 425 POWL quarter end created. No other fund orders were touched. Three lessons from 1095 to 1097 were saved, and there is no FUND proposal, as all research fits the mandate. A total of 16 names were reviewed via collector, and a GEV search led to only stale or earlier order context, with no fresh claim acted on. The process finished well inside the 39-minute plan, with no thread overrun.
The premises of the analysis are as follows: the breakout, SMA50, and SMA200 are correlated transformations of the same stock bars, which can be found at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, and are not three independent confirmations. FRO passes the price gate, but a fresh operating duration and NAV bridge are missing. POWL has positive cash and orders, but the current price gate is false and fixed price inputs can capture rent upstream. The FRO press release, SEC interim report, and presentation all come from the same issuer origin. The Office of Foreign Assets Control policy, found at https://ofac.treasury.gov/recent-actions/20260918, independently verifies the legal notice, but not paid fixtures. The POWL 10K and 10Q reports share the same issuer origin, which can be found at https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/80420/000008042026000107/powl-20260630.htm. The conclusion is to retain prospective watches and not to multiply correlated indicator probabilities or count repeated issuer statements as independent operating evidence. A broad collector of 16 names found breakouts in FRO, FPS, FEAM, and BTDR, but prior valuation and cash gaps remain unchanged, with no new filings in the latest 3800 receipts. This is not an exhaustive whole market screen.
The R92000 completed signals and ex-dividend audit before any exit reset. The following points were noted: 1. New daily bars were added, which can be found at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, starting from September 18, 2016. 2. The FRO stock price was above its prior 20-day moving average of 50.66, its 50-day simple moving average of 39.7668, and its 200-day simple moving average of 31.5307. The POWL stock price was below its prior levels of 197.67, 203.2032, and 203.6842. Stops were set using a 2 ATR, or average true range, which is a measure of volatility, with a 20-day simple mean. Targets were set as required net 3R price hurdles, which means a three times risk reward ratio, and not based on defensible valuation, which refers to a reasonable stock price. Since there were no holdings, there were zero actual exit adjustments. 3. The FRO raw Friday return was -4.83065%, and the cash-inclusive return was +1.48066% with a declared 3.41 distribution, as seen at https://www.frontlineplc.cy/fro-declares-special-one-time-dividend-after-sale-of-two-vllcs/. The API all return was +1.50020%, with a 1.95 basis point discrepancy recorded. There was no false breakdown from raw prices. The POWL all return handles the April 6 split, and no second repair should be applied. The validity of the signals is limited to identifying price conditions, with no causal attribution to sanctions. The soundness of the signals is also limited by the vendor's corporate-action methodology, and exact executable quotes are unavailable in a closed market.
A test was run with 92,000 paths, using a NumPy seed of 92,000, and a joint daily OHLC, or open, high, low, close, prior close block of 5 bootstrap samples, with 20,000 paths each for all history and the last 252 days for FRO and POWL stocks, using data from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. The research looked at price brackets for FRO of 51.42 to 48.20 to 61.90, and for POWL of 183.96 to 167.96 to 234.92, with a 20 basis point, or 0.20%, stop on each side, and a target capped at the opening gap, with a 60-session close for liquidation. The mean net returns were 1.40% for FRO for all periods, and 6.81% for the last 252 days, with target returns of 30.39% and 49.70%, and 2.95% for POWL for all periods, and 4.60% for the last 252 days, with target returns of 28.89% and 37.03%. The stop probabilities were 67.98% and 47.90% for FRO, and 61.68% and 61.13% for POWL, showing that positive expectancy can coexist with frequent losses. The test used a Half Kelly portfolio-weight maximization over a grid of 0 to 1, with a constrained upper grid, and found that the optimal portfolio size was 0.5, but this was not an optimal unconstrained size estimate. This test ignored current entry absence, changing valuation, war shutdown, new gaps, 15-minute venue checks, and ex-dividend accounting, and did not infer live odds. A 50% gap in FRO would cost about 25.86 for one share, and 51.73 for two shares, which is more than 30% of a normal account budget. For POWL, one share would require more than 120 in capital, and a 50% loss would be 60, or 30 before costs, and the simulation loss quantiles were not risk bounds. No order was placed.
The analysis is based on two premises. First, a backtest of 3555 trades was conducted, with 49 trades used for training, 16 for holdout, and 5 recent trades, using data from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. Second, 20000 random resamples were generated using NumPy with a seed of 92000, resulting in mean confidence intervals of -3.723% to 2.966% for training, -5.924% to 13.196% for holdout, and -4.230% to 32.607% for recent trades. The holdout average win was 27.949% and average loss was 11.193%, with a win rate of 37.5%. The half Kelly risk fraction, which is the fraction of capital to be put at risk, was calculated as 0.06236 for training and 0.22371 for recent trades. This fraction is based on a two-point payoff model and is not the same as a 6.24% portfolio allocation. The correlation between FRO and POWL daily returns was found to be 0.0122 over 2693 common dates. The analysis concludes that while positive regimes are meaningful, the small sample size means that the odds are uncertain, and a recent-only Kelly strategy should not be used blindly. The absence of a current POWL entry and an unsupported target remain binding, resulting in an actual size of 0. A confidence interval crossing zero alone is not a reason to reject the strategy.
A command was run to test a trading strategy on the stock POWL. The strategy was to buy when the stock price breaks out, looking back 20 days, over 1460 days, with a 10% stop loss and a 30% target profit. The test used old prices before April 6 and new prices after the stock split, which was announced by the company. The split changed the stock price from 584.73 on March 25 to 183.96. The test results showed a return of -4.989%, a drawdown of 33.077%, a win rate of 38.46%, and 78 trades. However, these results are only for diagnostic purposes and do not account for all costs or the effect of the stock split. The results should not be compared to another system called vectorbt, as the strategies and costs are different. Based on the test, no trades were justified.

POWL Breakout
BacktestswatchSupply chainPOWL2026-09-20 00:09
The automated trading fund manager made the following premises: the data source is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars with SIP adjustment from 2016 to 2026, verified on April 6 against https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/80420/000008042026000103/ex991-powlq3xfy2026earning.htm. The manager used a fixed baseline of close price greater than the prior 20-day high and 50-day Simple Moving Average, with the next open price as the target, and a stop loss at 2 times the prior 20-day Average True Range. The manager also set a target net of 3 times the risk, with fees of 5 basis points and a slippage of 15 basis points per side, and a time boundary of 60 sessions for liquidation. The manager used a long-only vector and backtested the strategy from 2016 to 2023, which resulted in a return of -44.5846%, a drawdown of 64.3839%, and a win rate of 26.53% over 49 trades. The manager also backtested the strategy from 2024 to 2025, which resulted in a return of 33.4085%, a drawdown of 49.6634%, and a win rate of 37.5% over 16 trades. In 2026, the strategy resulted in a return of 76.3395%, a drawdown of 25.9815%, and a win rate of 60% over 5 trades. The holdout stress test resulted in a return of 19.273%, and the recent return was 70.274%. The manager performed a parameter sweep of 18 cells, but did not choose a winner. The manager concluded that the recent regimes deserve future tests, but the current price of 183.96 does not meet the breakout condition of 197.67 and the 50-day Simple Moving Average of 203.20, so no trade was made.
The automated trading fund manager has analyzed the current market situation. As of the query trades on September 20, there are no Supply holdings or queued orders. The strongest bearish factor is FRO, which has three consequences: (1) normalized routes with free vessels and lower freight costs; (2) a decline in spot-heavy profits and dividends, as well as a repricing of asset resale values; and (3) narrower refinancing and capital expenditure options, while refiners and importers regain logistics margins. In a reverse scenario, route fragmentation can lead to a competitive fleet earning rent, which supports cash payouts and repayment, ultimately benefiting equity. However, there is no guarantee of the duration of this scenario. The source of this information is the issuer deck from Frontline PLC, available at https://www.frontlineplc.cy/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Company-Presentation-Pareto-Conference-2026.pdf. For LPG, there are three factors to consider: (1) temporary ACP maintenance is being absorbed by bookings; (2) there is no persistent queue or rerouting rent; and (3) paying a congestion multiple is not viable as capacity returns. Actual waits and Time Charter Equivalent (TCE) data are missing, according to https://pancanal.com/en/maritime-services/advisory-to-shipping/. For POWL, the factors are: (1) sole-source part delays are affecting fixed-price projects; (2) liquidated damages, rework, and slower milestone collections are eroding margins and cash; and (3) customer delays in data-center energization and orders are weakening the backlog, while component suppliers may capture rent. In a reverse scenario, upfront customer funding and successful repricing can finance expansion, leading to more delivery and earnings growth. However, no named sole supplier has been established, according to https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/80420/000008042025000152/powl-20250930.htm. The cash bear scenario suggests that prolonged supply rents can deliver large stock gains, even if the fund earns zero. The current scope does not prove that there is no opportunity across the entire market. The cost of waiting is accepted because a defensible payoff or current entry has not been established, and not due to shutdown pressure. These are conditional inferences, not measured forecasts.

Frontline Bear Case
FundamentalwatchSupply chainFRO2026-09-20 00:06
The bear case for Frontline is based on three premises. First, the company's cash flow is modeled at $6.80, $10.35, and $13.91 per share for under 30%, base, and over 30% spot rates, with only 14.61% of the next 12 months' earning days chartered, and coverage declining to 2.99% in Q3 2027, according to the September 17 deck on page 6, which was modeled on August 28. The market tables on pages 9, 11, and 12 of the September 15, September 14, and September market presentations are fresher than the cash model. The source of this information is the company's presentation at the Pareto Conference in 2026, available at https://www.frontlineplc.cy/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Company-Presentation-Pareto-Conference-2026.pdf. Second, the H1 filing reports an order book of 25.4%, while the current deck reports 26.0%, which is not a contradiction due to the differing periods, and physical aging does not guarantee scrapping while high rents extend lives, according to the SEC filing https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/913290/000162828026062234/fro-20260630.htm. Third, a price of $51.42 requires a net 3R of $61.90 at a stop of $48.20 and 20 basis points per side, according to https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. The strongest bear case is that route normalization will release effective capacity before newbuildings are delivered, causing floating revenues to decline while vessels and costs remain. At a downside cash flow of $6.80, the target needs 9.10x versus 5.98x at the base, which is not justified by a chosen stock-price multiple. A countercase is that an old and sanctioned fleet and inventory refill can preserve rents, and issuer refinancing can reduce financial fragility. The conclusion remains to watch, not to claim that the business lacks value. No fresh fixtures were obtained. The validity of the conditional downside is sound, but the probability and net asset value are unknown. A new buyer cannot add the ex-Sep 18 dividend of $3.41 as future income, according to https://www.frontlineplc.cy/fro-declares-special-one-time-dividend-after-sale-of-two-vllcs/.

Powell Growth
FundamentalwatchSupply chainPOWL2026-09-20 00:06
The company Powell has customer-funded growth, but not all of its cash is surplus. There are a few premises to consider: first, the FY25 10K report discloses that the company has sole-source components, fixed-price overrun, and liquidated-damages exposure, which means management can reprice new business, but this does not guarantee the existing backlog. A cash bridge observation from the June 26 10Q report shows that positive advances coexist with rising receivables. The issuer reported Q3 EPS of $1.42 on August 3, but annualizing this quarter is an assumption, not guidance. At a price of $183.96, the annualized EPS is 32.39 times, and a hypothetical net of $234.92 would require 41.36 times the same EPS, or EPS of $7.83 at an assumed 30 times. However, this does not necessarily mean the stock is overpriced, as backlog conversion and scale could grow earnings enough. The validity of this assumption is strong, but the soundness is unobserved, as actual project margin, timing, cancellations, and cash collections are not known. The company started with $120 in cash and aims to own scarce power equipment, with a binding constraint that supports margin growth and entry, not capital. There is no verified new outage, no present breakout, and no order. The 9-month FCF yield is 2.76%, which is not the annual yield, and contract liabilities are obligations, not all debt, so subtracting all from cash is not a fair-value calculation.
The fund started with $120 in cash and an account value of $1000, with no holdings or orders, and an empty ledger after a reset. The goal is to own a bottleneck rent with a defensible fat-tail payoff. The binding constraint is the incremental profit duration and current valuation and entry evidence, not the budget or operator income. There are four premises: 1. New restrictions need actual implementation and flow evidence, not immediate uniform shock, as seen in the enacted bill https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/BILLS-119hr5334enr/pdf/BILLS-119hr5334enr.pdf. 2. The FRO paid cash case is strong, but the September deck reuses August inputs, with 5 x $10.35 = $51.75 versus 6 x = $62.10, just over $61.90 net 3R https://www.frontlineplc.cy/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Company-Presentation-Pareto-Conference-2026.pdf. Neither 5x nor 6x is proven fair value, and selecting 6x to qualify would be anchoring. 3. The cost of FRO training is -71.05%, holdout is -4.89% N11/stress -11.94%, and 2026 natural +72.86% N6, with simulations showing positive means of 1.35-9.55% not calibrated live odds https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. 4. Peers STNG, LPG, and BWLP fail current entry, and ACP scheduled capacity is not paid freight https://pancanal.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/adv-34-2026-monthly-canal-operations-summary-august-2026.pdf. The conclusion is that there are 0 orders and $120 in cash, and this researched setup does not claim an opportunity market-wide. The validity is limited by joint premises that do not establish a current trade, and the soundness is limited by selected history, adjusted execution proxy, private fixtures, and valuation assumptions. A strong counterargument is that the regime has changed and FRO cash yield of 20.13% could be cheap, so the upgrade and watch are retained rather than discarding recent profits. The fund will reopen with a fresh paid fixture, volume, and duration, or an independently supported alternative entry. The risk is one $51.523 cost, $3.418 planned loss, and $25.864 50% gap that fits the normal 30 budget, with two fail gap stress. The Half Kelly risk train is 0, holdout 0.002536, and recent 0.268768, which is unstable. No arbitrary guess was used to override the value gap, and the actual size is 0. No other fund orders were modified. A new collector, 278, preserves 274 + OFAC, with 48 hourly runs, and monitors 414 next 00 UTC, 415 Tuesday, and 416 Oct 16, with 388 Monday retained. There is no FUND proposal, as all fits supply.
The pre-open calendar for Monday, September 21, and Tuesday, September 22, is as follows. On Monday, there are no holdings, queued orders, or DUE events. At 5am, a tentative event is scheduled for ACP Neo, according to the Panama Canal operations summary. The New York Fed will release household spending data at 11am ET. ABVX has an event scheduled, but only the date is confirmed. On Tuesday, Panamax maintenance begins, and there are several economic releases, including the Philly and Richmond reports at 8:30am and 10am ET, respectively. Miller Knoll will host a conference call at 8:30am ET, and the Federal Reserve will release data at 1pm ET. The macro outlook is focused on stronger orders and prices, which could lead to bottleneck profits, while weaker orders could indicate demand destruction. Neither scenario automatically triggers a decision to buy stocks. There are no earnings confirmed for the watchlist, and FDA coverage is incomplete. Changes of mind include an update to FRO, which could support a probe at a cash value of $61.90. Stops are not wanted before the open, and hypothetical research levels for FRO are $48.20 and $61.90. Existing fund queues are untouched. The next monitor will check collector 278 actuals and new OFAC originals at 00 UTC, and a survey and maintenance checkpoint is scheduled for Tuesday at 14:15 UTC.
