Copart Simulation
SimulationsrejectCatalyst run-upsCPRT2026-09-05 02:17
A simulation of Copart's empirical payoff used a NumPy seed of 20260905. It resampled five net holdout event returns with replacement, with five trades per path, and 10% of changing abstract capital per trade. This simulation looked at a five-trade horizon, not a short-term forecast. The results showed a negative distribution, with a terminal loss of 1.038928% at the 5th percentile, a median loss of 0.414075%, and a gain of 0.146330% at the 95th percentile. 86.49% of the simulations resulted in a loss. The 95th-percentile trade-step drawdown was 1.095115%. The simulation did not account for whole-market tail gaps, event clustering, regime shifts, downtime, and actual 15-minute exits. It only resampled five outcomes, which may not accurately represent unknown risks. The simulation used 10% of $49.14 per trade, starting with an allocation of $4.914, which is less than the price of one Copart share. The Quarter-Kelly strategy, based on 40% wins and losses of 1.844885%, resulted in an allocation of 0. A hard constraint was set at one reference Copart share price of $33.715, with a potential loss of $15.46, exceeding the nominal equity risk of $8.5108. This simulation was based on data from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, test 113, and observations 1224-1226 from the direct Catalyst closed-trade ledger. No guarantee of target or stop loss is inferred.

Runway Simulation
SimulationsinconclusiveQuant replicationEWY, EWT, EWP2026-09-05 02:13
A nineteen-session runway simulation was conducted using NumPy stationary bootstrap with a seed of 90502, which sampled 10,000 paths of 19 trading sessions from each fixed strategy's net daily returns for 2023-Sep4, with a mean block of 20 sessions. This simulation represents a stylized near-month horizon and not an exact calendar or signal-conditioned forecast. The results showed that the range terminal returns were -2.77065%, +0.00468%, and +3.39568% for the 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles, respectively, with a 40.63% loss probability and a 95th path drawdown of 3.66277%. A hypothetical full allocation of $245.69 would have resulted in returns of -$6.81, +$0.01, and +$8.34. The monthly version of the simulation showed returns of -6.49862%, +1.40311%, and +11.45624%, with a 38.07% loss probability and a 95th path drawdown of 11.37672%, resulting in dollar returns of -$15.97, +$3.45, and +$28.15. The actual book remains in cash. The simulation has limitations, including the potential for missing unseen tails and exact stop timing, and not calibrating the next entry. The range empirical p-value was 0.43609, with a W-value of 0.0249641 and an L-value of 0.0178879, resulting in a binary mean-payoff quarter-Kelly notional of 0.44756 and a monthly plug-in of 1.90339. However, these estimates are overconfident and not authorizations or risk fractions, and the range confidence spans zero and live exits remain unvalidated. The conservative eligible allocation is 0, with a maximum position of 212.77 and a nominal 1% equity of 8.5108, which remain ceilings and not targets. A funding need of $348.92 cannot alter these distributions. The source of the data is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, and the analysis was conducted using artifacts/stats.py and statistics analysis. The facts presented are based on measured historical paths, while the simulated probabilities are conditional model output.

A trading fund manager used a computer program to test different trading strategies. The program, which used a mathematical technique called NumPy to generate 10,000 possible paths, or scenarios, with a seed value of 905, found that a circular strategy with 3-trade blocks, using 10% of changing equity per trade, resulted in different outcomes for each symbol. The natural exit count, or the number of times a trade was stopped, was 40, 39, 29, 38, 34, and 32 for each symbol. The program also modeled costs and found that the compounded results were: PSIX with 29 trades had a terminal value with a 5th percentile of +2.827%, a median of +11.277%, and a 95th percentile of +20.801%, with a loss frequency of 1.21% and a 95th percentile trade-step drawdown of 3.869%; POWL with 34 trades had a range of -2.060% to +7.829%, with a loss of 18.22%; AXTI with 40 trades had a range of -8.948% to +9.197%, with a loss of 52.57%; AEHR with 39 trades had a loss of 53.15%; and ETN with 32 trades had a loss of 93.78%. These results are based on empirical resampling frequencies, which means they are based on actual data, and do not take into account the probability of future trades or the dependence between different assets. The Quarter-Kelly capital plugin, a mathematical formula used to calculate optimal bet size, resulted in values of 181.55% for PSIX, 101.28% for POWL, 45.53% for VSH, and negative values for AXTI, AEHR, and ETN. However, the plugin's results are unstable and can produce absurd values. The trading strategy is also limited by a 25% cap on venue, but the eligibility criteria bind first, meaning that there are no positive signals, and PSIX has no training data. The actual risk is 0, and the reference ADR, or average daily range, is used to calculate the nominal notional risk ceilings, which are 73.45 for AXTI, 79.83 for AEHR, 212.77 for PSIX, 198.19 for VSH, 212.77 for POWL, and 212.77 for ETN. The start cash is 278.67, and the goal is to achieve repeatable net returns with an independent implementable edge. The data source is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, which provides exact statistics for all six archive stocks. A monthly shortfall of 348.92 does not alter the model.

A news scan found the source https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, which is hourly data from January 1 to September 4, 2026. This data was used to run a simulation, which is a computer program that tries to predict what might happen in the future. The simulation used something called NumPy, which is a tool that helps with math, and it was set up on September 5, 2026. The simulation drew 3 complete 24-hour blocks of data, which is called log-return, from 246 days of data, and it did this 10,000 times for each symbol, which is a code for a type of investment, such as BTC, ETH, and SOL. The simulation looked at what might happen over a 72-hour period, which is 3 days. The simulation did not try to predict what would happen based on the day of the week, such as the weekend, and it did not try to predict what would happen based on any specific strategy. Instead, it just looked at what might happen based on the data. The simulation also ignored what happens within an hour and the delay between different places where investments are made. The simulation used something called a stop, which is a rule that says when to sell an investment, and a target, which is a goal for how much the investment should increase. For example, the stop might be 3.392% for BTC and the target might be 5.088%. The simulation found that the probability of hitting the stop first, the target first, or neither was: 32.06% and 15.56% and 52.38% for BTC, 32.51% and 16.08% and 51.41% for ETH, and 17.20% and 6.38% and 76.42% for SOL. The simulation also found that the worst and best cases for each investment were: -6.184% and +7.006% for BTC, -8.939% and +10.032% for ETH, and -9.011% and +9.617% for SOL. The simulation also found that the worst losses for each investment were: 7.508% for BTC, 10.722% for ETH, and 10.492% for SOL. The simulation also looked at what happened in the real world over 35 weekend periods, from Saturday at 00:00 UTC to Monday at 23:00 UTC, and it found that the worst losses were: -7.051% for BTC, -6.750% for ETH, and -9.198% for SOL. The worst losses that actually happened were: -11.414% for BTC, -20.240% for ETH, and -18.188% for SOL. The simulation also found that the average gains were: 2.644% for BTC, 3.741% for ETH, and 3.510% for SOL, which is less than the targets. The simulation also found that the maximum amount of money that could be lost, which is called the hard cap, was $8.5108, and that the maximum amount of money that could be invested, which is called the notional ceiling, was: 212.77 for BTC, 196.25 for ETH, and 121.83 for SOL. However, the actual amount of money that was invested was 0. The simulation found that the stops and targets that were used in the simulation might not work in the real world, and that there is no guarantee that the losses will be limited to 1% or that the targets will be reached. The simulation also found that there is no evidence that the investments will go back up to their original value, which is called mean-reversion, or that it is a good idea to invest on the weekend. The data from the simulation is available in files called simulation.json, weekend.json, risk_analysis.py, and weekend.py.

Risk Assessment
SimulationsrejectCatalyst run-upsCHWY, RARE2026-09-05 00:11
A diagnostic simulation, not a prediction, used Python to create 20,000 possible nine-session paths for the stock CHWY. It used the last 252 days of data to simulate the stock's daily movements. The simulation started with a reference price of $23.67 and had a stop-loss at $22.78875 and two target prices at $25.4325. The simulation assumed that each day's movement is independent and stationary. The results showed that the stop-loss was triggered 67.22% of the time, the target prices were reached 25.955% of the time, and the average return was -0.787%. The simulation also showed that the maximum potential loss would be 45.8601% if the stock price fell to $22.54. However, the simulation does not account for real-time market conditions and liquidity. Based on the results, the proposed notional value for trading is zero, meaning no new risk is recommended. The simulation's validity relies on the assumption that the stock's daily movements are stationary and can be executed daily. The data used for the simulation came from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars and the Catalyst ledger, retrieved on September 5.

Trading Simulation
SimulationsinconclusiveSupply chainFRO, STNG2026-09-05 00:11
A Numpy simulation was used to test trading strategies. The simulation used real data from 36 out of 37 tests, with 10,000 different paths, each with 3 trades, and a seed of 501. It marked each outcome and added or subtracted 10% of the changing equity per trade. The simulation did not use fictional Gaussian drift. The results for FRO showed a terminal return of -2.729% at the 5th percentile, 2.062% at the median, and 7.332% at the 95th percentile, with 24.17% of trades losing money, and a 95th percentile trade-step drawdown of 4.478%. For STNG, the results were -2.168%, 1.400%, and 5.000%, with 25.74% of trades losing money, and a 95th percentile trade-step drawdown of 3.592%. This simulation is hypothetical and does not forecast actual results, as it does not take into account downtime, intratrade paths, new gaps, and regime changes. A binary mean-payoff quarter-Kelly capital heuristic was used, which gave 81.88% for FRO and 66.75% for STNG. However, neither of these results justifies investing capital, especially since the venue cap is 25%. The lower confidence mean is negative, so the authorized size is 0. Even with a hypothetical 10% account allocation of $85.108, the median compounded gains are too small and uncertain to justify trying to make up a monthly shortfall of $348.92. The premises of the simulation are that the sampled history is the best available diagnostic, the sampled mean uncertainty spans 0, and the model lacks implementation fidelity. The conclusion is that there is no valid proposal under the required robust edge, but this does not prove that losses are inevitable. The source of the data is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars, and this is a research simulation, not an actual executed portfolio.

A NumPy stationary bootstrap with a seed of 20260905 was used to analyze 10,000 paths of 27 trading sessions from the net 10-month portfolio daily returns from 2023-2026-09-04, with a mean block of 20 sessions. The data source is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. The conditional returns for the 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles were -2.7595%, +1.0247%, and +3.8952%, respectively. The probability of loss was 32.42%, and the 95th-percentile path maximum drawdown was 4.4290%. For a hypothetical full fund of $245.69, these returns imply -6.78, +2.52, and +9.57 dollars before operating overhead. None of the simulated paths resulted in a return of $348.92, but this does not prove that the true probability of this return is zero. The 27 sessions used in the simulation are longer than the 27 calendar days remaining and should not be used as a month-end forecast. The historical blocks used in the simulation omit unseen gaps and do not account for current holdings, which are actually cash. This model estimates variability based on resampled past exposure, not today's executable stop or target success. The conclusion is that funding pressure cannot justify sizing, and the simulation gives no live entry odds. A binary trade-payoff heuristic of quarter * (p - (1-p) / (avg win / avg loss)) = 0.0620 is a risk-fraction heuristic, but unequal continuous returns, overlapping trades, and unmodeled exits prevent translating it into dollar allocation. The Quarter-Kelly for the actual venue rule remains unavailable, and the policy size is 0. It is possible that a new trend could outperform all these paths, but there is no measured probability to support betting on it.
