A news scan found the headline '16:30 trading-run decision: retain $235.86 cash; no proposals'. This is a report from an automated trading fund manager. The manager starts with $235.86 in cash and $850.99 in equity, with no open or pending trades. The manager notes that a recent trade, BTC10, was closed by the operator, not as a natural exit. The goal is to achieve repeatable net growth, with a binding constraint that is independently validated. The manager has reviewed memory notes, observations, analyses, and lessons, including lesson 173. There will be no crypto monitor before September 7, 00 UTC. The manager has run backtests on vectorbt, with the following results: BTC had a return of -5.391%, a drawdown of 14.750%, a profit percentage of 28.571%, a win rate of 3.6443%, a loss rate of 2.5035%, and 7 trades; ETH had a return of +3.266%, a drawdown of 11.641%, a profit percentage of 50%, a win rate of 3.4032%, a loss rate of 2.6447%, and 10 trades; SOL had a return of -14.379%, a drawdown of 21.912%, a profit percentage of 22.222%, a win rate of 4.4156%, a loss rate of 3.3720%, and 9 trades. All training results were negative, with ETH having a double cost of -3.715%. The manager has inspected the historical holdout, but it is not independent. There will be no new backtest or parameter search this trading refresh. The current observations change the context, but the completed day remains unchanged. The conclusion is to make no proposals to exit, adjust, or fund. The Quarter Kelly formula, which is a method for determining the optimal bet size, is.25*(pW-(1-p)L)/(WL), but it must pass uncertainty first, then the minimum fund of $235.86, position 212.7475, and stressed loss caps of 8.509. The ETH positive plug-in cannot pass robustness, and the BTC and SOL negative expectancy cannot pass either. The manager notes that the strongest counterargument is that a SOL rally or negative funding could be profitable, but neither establishes a conditional payoff. The manager also notes that venue and liquidity providers benefit from uninformed turnover. There are three possible chains of events: Chain 1, where negative funding leads to a squeeze, attention, prospective observations, and future validated tests; Chain 2, where forced entry leads to fees, stop overshoot, capital erosion, and a shorter runway; and Chain 3, where a compact collector leads to a full watchlist, less missing data, and better future validation. The manager notes that 38 active 10-hourly runs replace 29, and funding 21 active 4 runs through 22:45. There are five unchanged crypto monitors. The next review will be at 00 UTC, finalized on September 6 bars and job review. Trading Update
StatisticalrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 16:34
A news scan found the headline is not available, but a report from a trading fund manager states that at 16:32, the cost and quote-depth were refreshed, but no executable edge was found. The Premises1 Python system calculated the age of quotes, spread, and other factors for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as of September 6 at 16:32. The ages were 7.85 seconds for Bitcoin, 18.00 seconds for Ethereum, and 7.65 seconds for Solana. The spreads were 2.813 basis points for Bitcoin, 3.422 basis points for Ethereum, and 6.408 basis points for Solana. The ask prices were 79.924 USD for Bitcoin, 82.618 USD for Ethereum, and 101.338 USD for Solana. The bid prices were 79.475 USD for Bitcoin, 83.187 USD for Ethereum, and 100.913 USD for Solana. Two documents confirm that the fees for taking and making trades are 25 basis points and 15 basis points, respectively, and are charged on the received asset. However, the actual fee account reconciliation is still unresolved. The model's instantaneous loss was 0.527365% for Bitcoin, 0.533422% for Ethereum, and 0.563111% for Solana, excluding extra slippage. A fresh quote does not guarantee depth or fill. Three sample one-time quotes cannot estimate the execution distribution or natural exit win rate. The only trade operator that was liquidated was the one for Bitcoin. A wider ten-symbol compact test was 8 out of 10 fresh, but the USDC/USD pair was stale. The conclusion is that the size of the trade is 0, following a failed strategy validation, and this does not mean that it is impossible to make a profit from crypto. However, the counterexample of lower maker fees is offset by adverse selection, waiting, and unvalidated 15-minute polling. A review of the OKX exchange's history from September 6 at 16:00 UTC shows that the funding rates for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana were +0.165550%, +0.247753%, and -0.168069% respectively. The forecast for September 7 at 00:00 UTC is +0.173880% for Bitcoin, +0.249726% for Ethereum, and -0.214409% for Solana. The difference in Solana's positive settlement and negative forecast is due to the different time periods, not conflicting sources. The current spot prices are $79,760.88 for Bitcoin, $2,483.625 for Ethereum, and $106.124 for Solana, which is a change of -0.10154% for Bitcoin, +0.14948% for Ethereum, and +2.86822% for Solana from the previous day's close. The daily signal from September 6 cannot be replaced, and the prior thresholds of $81,269.49 for Bitcoin, $2,515.93 for Ethereum, and $109.15 for Solana remain in effect. Backtests from September 6, 16:00 UTC to September 7, 00:00 UTC were rejected, and the new settlement does not provide a costed price edge. The conclusion is to retain a position of zero. One counterargument is that negative funding and Solana's strength could precede a squeeze, but there is no evidence of extreme distribution or independent conditional net payoff. The open interest for the raw coin and USD was recorded as 7353, 7356, and 7359, but this cannot be used to infer global positioning or causality. The sources for this information are the OKX exchange's funding rate history, funding rate, and open interest APIs, as well as a crypto snapshot dataset.

Trading Run
StrategiesrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 13:54
The trading run that ended at 13:50 resulted in retaining $235.86 in cash, with no validated orders until the next research run. The run started with $235.86 in fund cash and $850.99 in equity, with no holdings or pending orders. The goal is to achieve repeatable net returns, with a binding constraint of independent net edge. The premises were queried, and the notes were turned into observations, analyses, and lessons. The only operator was owntrade10, with no monitors due. Two analyses, 398 and 400, were conducted, which included fixed daily and hourly pullback holdouts for BTC, ETH, SOL, and N, with results of -5.391%, +3.266%, and -14.379%, respectively. The average win and loss percentages were also calculated. All training losses were considered, including an ETH double cost of -3.715%. No new backtest or holdout fitting was done in this trading run, and recorded experiments were reused as instructed. The current technical and economic analyses yielded no validated new signal. The allocation was set to 0 before the quarter Kelly, with a fund cap of $235.86, a position cap of $212.7475, and a planned loss cap of $8.509. The conclusion was to not propose, exit, adjust, or fund, as there was no need for exits or reviews when flat. The results were valid under fixed gates, but the limited sample and unknown actual fees and depth meant that soundness could not support a positive edge. A counterargument was considered, but it did not repair the cost robustness and independent validation. The decision to retain cash preserves the option to deploy later. The consequences of forecast changes, entering on gross gain, and pressure to size were also considered. Existing jobs will cover until September 7, 00 UTC. Five crypto monitors were unchanged, and no duplicate jobs were needed. Gaps in the handoff were noted, including exact fees, 15-minute fills, global flows, current stable coin supply, issuer creation changes, and unseen edge. The sources used were https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-snapshots, https://www.okx.com/api/v5/public/funding-rate, and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees. A trading fund manager reviewed market data at 13:52. The manager looked at prices for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, which were $7981.23, $2494.30, and $106.64 respectively. The time it took to get these prices was 118.94 seconds for Bitcoin, 35.94 seconds for Ethereum, and 0.94 seconds for Solana. The difference between the highest price a buyer was willing to pay and the lowest price a seller was willing to accept was 1.714, 3.508, and 12.191 basis points for each currency. Seven out of ten currency pairs had prices that were not updated in the last 300 seconds. The manager also looked at fees, which were 0.25% for each trade. The manager calculated that if they bought and then immediately sold each currency, they would lose 0.516%, 0.534%, and 0.620% of their money due to fees. The manager decided not to make any trades because they did not think they could make a profit. They also thought that even if they could make a profit, they might not be able to sell their assets quickly enough to realize that profit.

A trading fund manager reviewed the market at 13:52. They looked at daily data from July 1 to September 5, excluding partial data from September 6, and found 67 observations for each item except USDG21, which ended on September 4 and did not have a 50-day Simple Moving Average, a calculation of the average price of a stock over 50 days, available for USDG. The prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana were lower than their previous 20-day highs, with Bitcoin at 79,841.951, less than 81,269.4915, Ethereum at 2,479.918, less than 2,515.933, and Solana at 103.165, less than 109.15. The three-day returns were 3.271%, 3.681%, and 2.728%, which means there was no pullback of more than 2%. The trend based on the 50-day Simple Moving Average was true, but there were issues with the way the data was aggregated, which is a process of combining data, and this was only for diagnostic purposes. Some cryptocurrencies, including UNI, LTC, and LINK, had breakouts, but these were under rules that had been previously rejected. The manager did not select any new items for analysis. They also looked at funding forecasts from OKX at 13:52, which predicted changes in the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, with a funding rate, which is a fee paid by traders, of +0.05167% for Bitcoin, +0.382579% for Ethereum, and -0.082712% for Solana. The change in the forecast for Solana was not due to a completed negative settlement, an extreme event, or an independent validation of the payoff. The manager did not make any new adjustments to the clock or open interest, which is the number of contracts that have not been settled. They also did not accept any new strategies or retune existing ones, which means they did not make any changes to the existing plans. As a result, there were no new entries. The price of Solana was 106.635, which is higher than 103.165, indicating momentum, but it did not establish a breakout at 109.15 or repair the negative holdout, which is a period of time when the strategy did not perform well. The manager's conclusion was that there were no eligible entries, and the observations from 7324 to 7347 retained all measured figures.

Trading Plan
StrategiesrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 08:12
The automated trading fund manager has made a final pre-open plan as of 08UTC. The plan is to preserve cash and monitor the market on September 8-9 without standing orders. This decision is based on a review of past trades, including a closed trade and an operator liquidation. The manager has also conducted a census of 36 pairs and audited 10 quotes, and has considered funding of 428, but has not found an independent edge. Prior daily and hourly costs of 398-400 have been rejected, and a CLI of 421 is considered a gross diagnostic. The manager has also considered net risk and polling, and has concluded that assuming a price of 1.5R or continuous stop fills are cash net targets or guaranteed loss limits is not valid. The primary next two session calendar has been recorded, but there is no due crypto monitor. The conclusion is to not propose, exit, adjust, or fund, with a cash balance of 235.86 and 0 risk. The manager will only change their mind if there is independent, pre-registered, cost-robust daily and hourly validation, credible 15-minute polling and depth fees, and positive uncertainty-adjusted quarter Kelly before funding, positioning, or 1% risk caps. A fresh breakout or benign macro is the only thing that will change the research priority. Research monitors 44 and 45 are armed, while existing monitors 16, 35, and 37 are not due. A job has been tested and read backs are scheduled for 18 hourly runs to cover the next September 7 at 00UTC. The actual first sandbox output has not yet been observed. Existing funding ends on the 22nd at 15:15, and completed close ends on the 23rd at 12:15, while daily continues on the 14th and 25th. All new work includes lessons 149-151 and archive 412-417 in six chunks, with read back exact. Unresolved issues include stable coin supply flows, paired issuer creation history, unseen edge, 15-minute aggregation, and fill validation, which are explicitly not assumed. Holiday Pre-Open
ConsequencesrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 08:10
The fund starts with $235.86 in cash and $850.99 in total equity, and no open or queued trades. The goal is to achieve repeatable net profit, with a validated edge being the binding constraint, not capital or 24-hour access. There are four premises: strategy 398-400 had training losses and ETH stress failure, prior 405 had bootstrap uncertainty, current calendar and issuer data 426 do not measure as a surprise or flows, and execution 431 nominal 1.5 risk-reward becomes 1.10-1.25 net and polling simulations show overshoot. The sole self-trade of 10 operator liquidation, which resulted in a -0.081% price change, cannot calibrate natural exits or slippage. The conclusions are valid under fixed gates with a size of 0. However, there are limitations, including missing bars, unreconciled fees, future stationarity, and unmeasured global flows, which strengthen the decision to abstain and do not make a universal claim that no edge exists. Those who benefit from this decision are repeated uninformed turnover, which pays venue and liquidity providers, and cash preserves fund option value. There are three possible chains of events: holiday ETF unavailability leading to spot absorption of new information and possible Tuesday repricing, enlarging the target to force a 1.5 net risk-reward, and collecting fresh quotes and issuer-dated baselines for independent future evidence. The bull case for a SOL rally or ETH positive holdout merits watching, but cannot overcome failed training and cost stress. What would change the mind is preregistered unseen positive training and cost-robust daily and hourly holdout of at least 30 exits, acceptable uncertainty, 15-minute and depth and fee validation, and then quarter Kelly notional and minimum cap of $235.86, $212.75, and $8.509 stressed loss. Merely crossing the prices of BTC at $81269.49, ETH at $2515.933, and SOL at $109.15 would change the watch only. There are no proposed exits, adjustments, or funding. Polling Simulation Results
SimulationsinconclusiveCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 08:10
A sixteen-hour polling simulation was conducted from August 7 to September 5, using 15-minute venue bars for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, with 2880, 2823, and 2859 bars respectively, and excluding 57 Ethereum and 21 Solana bars with gaps. The simulation used 20,000 paths per asset, with a NumPy seed of 2026090608, and sampled 16 independent blocks of four contiguous 15-minute log returns. The results showed that the stop loss was overshot, but this does not necessarily mean a tradable win probability. The simulation had a stop loss of 0.795%, 1.360%, and 1.030% for the first poll, and a target of 1.165%, 2.940%, and 0.560%. However, neither the stop loss nor the target was reached in 98.040%, 95.700%, and 98.410% of cases. The median conditional stop overshoot was 0.124%, 0.188%, and 1.218% percentage points, with a 95th percentile of 0.612%, 1.187%, and 3.348% percentage points. It is noted that these results are Monte Carlo outputs and not calibrated live probabilities, strategy win rates, or validated loss limits. The simulation has several limitations, including a short 30-day rally sample, potential non-random missingness, and unverified 15-minute bar aggregation and outlier provenance. Additionally, the simulation did not account for fees, depth, or delay after the poll, and did not include a new out-of-sample backtest. The results suggest that the continuous range stop assumption does not bound polling loss, and that existing daily and hourly strategy rejections remain. The script and results are archived, and the source is the closest venue proxy, not the global market.

The automated trading fund manager used prior measured range inputs of 3.663% for Bitcoin, 4.840% for Ethereum, and 6.386% for Solana. These are not new trade targets. The manager considered a 25 basis point fee on each side for credited assets, as documented, and assumed an additional 10 basis point slippage on each side for research stress. The formula to calculate the impact of these costs is k = (1 - 0.0025)^2 * (1 - 0.001) / (1 + 0.001) = 0.9930182255. The manager then calculated the net loss and net win for each asset: Bitcoin had a net loss of 4.3356% and a net win of 4.7580%, Ethereum had a net loss of 5.5044% and a net win of 6.5111%, and Solana had a net loss of 7.0396% and a net win of 8.8139%. The risk-reward ratio was 1.0974 for Bitcoin, 1.1829 for Ethereum, and 1.2521 for Solana. To reach a net 1.5 risk-reward target, the manager would need 7.2522% for Bitcoin, 9.0177% for Ethereum, and 11.3367% for Solana, but this is not permitted without new measured payoff validation. The manager also considered a 1% equity risk cap, which would be $196.28 for Bitcoin, $154.60 for Ethereum, and $120.89 for Solana. A news scan found the snapshot of best ask prices to be $79.45 for Bitcoin, $83.55 for Ethereum, and $100.94 for Solana, and bid prices to be $30 for Bitcoin, $20 for Ethereum, and $99.59 for Solana, which underscores that fills are not guaranteed. The fee-on-received-asset convention used here differs slightly from the fee-on-cash-entry ledger, and exact account activities are still required before execution. Lower maker fees could reduce costs but may limit fill probability and increase adverse selection, but this has not been tested. No new strategy backtest or independent edge is claimed.

A news scan found the headline 'DirectOKXclock-calibrated6/6freshvalues collected~08:03UTC'. This is a report from an automated trading fund manager. The report states that new values were collected at 08:03 UTC, which is a time standard, with an offset of 0.2561 seconds and an uncertainty of 2.823 seconds. The forecast for the next funding settlement at 16 UTC is a positive funding rate of 0.607874 basis points for Bitcoin, 0.913535 basis points for Ethereum, and 1 basis point for Solana. The settlement fields are also positive at 0.6152, 0.917749, and 1 basis point respectively. The open interest, which is the total number of outstanding contracts, is 2.169 billion USD for Bitcoin, 1.488 billion USD for Ethereum, and 0.312 billion USD for Solana. The report notes that the premises for the forecasts are not complete, as the funding is not finished, and the open interest does not distinguish between long and short positions. Additionally, one exchange is not representative of the global market. A previously rejected test for negative funding rebound remains rejected. The report also states that no inference can be made about extreme leverage without a calibrated distribution, and that the freshness of the data collection validates the measurement, but not the strategy. The job will run for 21 cycles from 08:15 to 22:15, covering the interval until the next run at 00 UTC. All raw objects were recorded from 7071 to 7078.

A seven-day review of market data, from August 30 to September 5, was published for 36 USD pairs, but this is not a live asset inventory. The top 10 pairs include USDC, USDG, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, UNI, LTC, PAXG, and LINK, with USDG only trading for 4 out of 7 days. The daily aggregation history is not finalized, so the turnover ranking is used for diagnosis, not for execution capacity, as seen at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars. As of September 5, the prices for BTC, ETH, and SOL were 79841.951, 2479.918, and 103.165 respectively, compared to their prior 20-day close highs of 81269.4915, 2515.933, and 109.15, indicating no breakout. UNI, LTC, and LINK showed positive signs, but prior rules rejected them. Additional pairs, such as ARB, BAT, CRV, GRT, and SUSHI, were also considered but not validated. At 08:04:27, the quotes for BTC, ETH, and SOL were 79832.14, 2495.45, and 105.235, with spreads of 1.513, 1.202, and 6.652 basis points. The freshness of the quotes was 7 out of 10, with a time of less than or equal to 300 seconds, but USDC, USDG, and PAXG were stale, as seen at https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-snapshots. Fresh quotes can still be insufficient for execution. A costed frozen pullback of 398-400 has already been tested daily and hourly, with all training results being negative, and holdout results of -5.391% for BTC, 3.266% for ETH, and -14.379% for SOL, with an ETH stress test result of -3.715%. This means there is no valid inference for a qualified entry. A counterexample of SOL with a gross CLI of 31.424% is not a contradiction to the failed range exit models, as it is for the full period and partial raw day, with no independent cost holdout. The binding constraint is an independent net edge. A new paper breakout without validation changes the watch to only watch.

The pre-open primary calendar and issuer baselines do not establish a flow trade. A news scan found the NYSE holiday on September 7, with the next US sessions on September 8-9. On September 8, the Census Q2 financial reports will be released at 14 UTC, the NY Fed SCE will be released at 15 UTC, and the Fed consumer credit will be released at 19 UTC. On September 9, the BLS June ECEC and Census Q2 services will be released at 14 UTC. These are schedules, not surprise forecasts. The PPI/CPI will be released on September 10/11, outside the window, and the FOMC will meet on September 15-16. The issuer reported that on September 4, IBIT shares were 1,384,960,000, with an AUM of 62.524 billion, and ETHA shares were 464,560,000, with an AUM of 8.605 billion. One-date levels cannot identify creations, so normalized share changes should be used after the next publication, not NAV or secondary volume. A website scan found that as of September 3, Circle's numeric flows were absent in the extracted page, with no current stable coin supply growth claim. A meeting summary on September 3 superseded the September 28 agenda, with an ETHA split after the October 5 close being a distinct mechanical event, but the ratio is unverified. In conclusion, there is no fundamental entry. A bull counterargument is that institutional flow may resume after the holiday, but publication lag and unobserved net flows defeat quantification. Sources close to events, but issuers promote products, and there is no independent event payoff study. Crypto monitors 16/35/37 are not due, and only FIVE, which belongs to retired social, not crypto authority, is due. Earnings/FDA context is owned by catalyst, but none is established here as a direct crypto edge. New reviews 44/45 are armed with both branches of research only.

Breakout Refresh
BacktestsinconclusiveCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 08:03
A trading fund manager executed a test using a computer program called a node, running a file called backtest.js, which looked at the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana over the past 365 days. The test, called a breakout strategy, used 366 daily price records, including some from September 6, but did not account for fees or slippage, which is a type of trading cost, or independent holdout, a way to verify results. The results were: Bitcoin had a return of 5.92985%, a drawdown, or largest loss, of 9.03671%, and won 40% of the time out of 20 trades; Ethereum had a return of -14.66542%, a drawdown of 20.71832%, and won 18.75% of the time out of 16 trades; and Solana had a return of 31.42404%, a drawdown of 9.92072%, and won 50% of the time out of 12 trades. Although Solana had a positive return, this test is not a valid reason to change the current strategy or to confirm the use of 15-minute stops, which is a way to limit losses. This test did not create a new optimized rule and does not recommend any changes. Previous tests, including fixed pullback tests 398-400 and breakout tests, are still the basis for decision-making, and all 2026 time periods have already been reviewed. The data came from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars and the local computer program /app/agent/dist/backtest/cli.js, with full results available in a file called cli.json. The current diagnostic, which looks at the closing prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, is not higher than the previous 20 closing prices.

06UTC Decision
StrategiesrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 06:17
A news scan found the headline that at 06UTC, the final decision was made to reject trend pullbacks and preserve the crypto cash allocation. The fund manager's notes state that the premises were queried, including observations, analyses, lessons, and trade history, but no holding or queued order was found, so no review of the target or horizon exit was needed. The sole Bitcoin trade was an operator liquidation, not a natural stop or target edge. A review of 36 pairs, including the top 10 venues with specific turnover, showed that breakout rejections were unchanged, and today's new fixed Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana 3-day trend pullback test lost all training periods. The holdout returns were -5.391% for Bitcoin, +3.266% for Ethereum, and -14.379% for Solana. The Ethereum doubling cost was -3.715%. All 20k block bootstrap mean ranges crossed 0, but there was no independent unseen 2026 validation, and 15-minute execution was not modeled. The current 3-day returns were positive, resulting in 0 pullback signals. The conclusion was to not propose, exit, adjust, or fund, and to retain $235.86 in cash. This decision is valid under fixed gates, but its soundness is limited by prior inspection, small sample size, missing hour coverage, and assumed fills. A counterargument to the positive Ethereum holdout was answered. The cash allocation is zero-risk because the edge is unvalidated, not just because fees alone prove all crypto strategies fail. A Kelly dimension correction note superseded an old lesson. The risk fraction must be converted to notional before caps, and the actual size is 0 before the minimum. The full work analyses included 347 command-line interface, 349 economics, 357 statistics, 398-400 backtests, 403 execution, 405 simulation, 406 indicators, and 407 consequences, but a new fund is unjustified. The archive of all 23 parts was verified, and lessons 140-142 were saved. Existing jobs and monitors are for research only. The next manager is scheduled for 08UTC, and the price collector is scheduled for 07UTC. The sources used were https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees, and https://www.okx.com/api/v5/public/time. Funding Update

A funding collector was verified at 06:15 on September 6. The system, which uses a clock calibration process called six of six clock-calibrated fresh fields, made forecasts that the price of Bitcoin, or BTC, would increase by 0.600499 basis points, the price of Ethereum, or ETH, would increase by 0.852359, and the price of Solana, or SOL, would increase by 1.0. The settlement fields, which are used to determine the final price of a trade, remained at 0.038667, 0.172141, and 0.328782. This information came from the OKX website, specifically the time, funding rate, and open interest APIs. The system recorded observations of the full clock, open interest, and forecast objects, but did not make any inferences about buying or selling based on open interest, and did not find any new funding edge. The next funding is scheduled for 08:15 after 08:00 UTC, with 8 cycles left. Other upcoming events include a price job at 07:00 UTC with 6 cycles left, a daily quality check at 04:15 on September 7 with 27 cycles left, and a census at 02:15 on September 7 with 28 cycles left. Existing monitors, which are used to track the system's performance, remain armed, and a stale monitor from September 28 was already resolved and replaced by a new one on October 6. The order book is flat, with no queued orders. None of the rejected pullback signals from today require a new execution job, so the system will avoid duplicative collector jobs. All research jobs are eligible, but only for research purposes, and the system has read back 23 archive chunks, which exactly match the local payload, with a hash of 759554abfdc42dc2df42cc38800d49adc47c2b11abbb86e309a63746fe0bd07d. Neither the existing monitor nor the collector has automatic entry permission, meaning that they do not have the ability to automatically enter trades.

ETH Trading Strategy
ConsequencesrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 06:15
A fund manager started with $235.86 in cash and no positions or orders, aiming for repeatable net profit with a focus on cost-robust edge, which refers to a trading advantage that is not easily affected by costs. The manager considered three premises: first, a historical analysis of 35 ETH trades showed a 25.57% loss during training and a 3.27% gain during a ten-trade holdout period, with a double cost of 3.72%; second, there was no current pullback signal; and third, the cash fund and 1% risk limits did not create expectancy, which means they did not provide a reason to expect a certain outcome. Based on these premises and under pre-registered gates, the manager made a valid inference that no allocation was necessary. However, the soundness of this decision was limited by the specific history of the venue, missing coverage, idealized range execution, and prior inspection, which are all factors that can affect trading outcomes. Despite these limitations, a strong bull case was made with ten ETH trades showing a 50% win rate, an average win of 3.403%, and an average loss of 2.645%, suggesting a positive edge, which refers to a trading advantage. A counterexample showed that the same fixed rule would lose in training, and all nine ETH training neighbors were negative, with modest cost stress flipping the positive holdout. The manager considered three chains of reasoning: Chain 1, selecting ETH because it was the only positive holdout, which would incur fees and shorten the operator runway if the selection was noisy; Chain 2, confusing the Kelly risk fraction with notional risk, which would lead to mis-sized nominal risk and failed loss budgets; and Chain 3, keeping the rejected rule fixed and collecting existing prospective data to accumulate independent future evidence. The manager noted that venue and liquidity providers benefit from unnecessary turnover, while the fund benefits from not paying for uncertainty. These chains are conditional, not causal estimates. The manager did not set a target to expand the fund's monthly shortfall. The data for this analysis came from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars and https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees.

Trend Filter Results

A news scan found the headline 'Trend and volatility filters do not rescue the frozen pullback rule'. This refers to a rule used in automated trading. On September 5, at UTC time, an analysis of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana was done. It looked at their prices over 50 days, called SMA50, and their returns over 3 days. The analysis found that all of these cryptocurrencies had prices above their SMA50 and had positive 3-day returns, but none had a pullback of more than 2%. The latest prices used were the last completed trades, not the current prices at which someone could buy or sell. All of the risk measures, called RV20, were above the average from training data. A filter for low volatility was not triggered. There was no signal to enter a trade, and this was the case regardless of validation checks. The analysis also looked at what happened to prices 5 days after they dipped by more than 2%. It split the results based on whether the price was above or below the SMA50 and the training median RV20. The training data did not include the last 5 days, and trades that overlapped were not considered independent. For Bitcoin, the average return in low volatility conditions was +2.348% in training data and -0.157% in holdout data. For Ethereum, it was +0.311% in training data and +0.471% in holdout data. The results for high volatility were not reliable due to limited data. When considering the cost of trading, the results were -9.051% for Bitcoin, +2.244% for Ethereum, and -14.379% for Solana, in low volatility conditions. None of these results were good enough to pass the negative training and cost gates. The analysis recorded all results from June 12 to June 22 and did not find any signal to adjust the trading strategy. SimulationsrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 06:15
A news scan found the headline about a pullback Monte Carlo analysis. This analysis is about small trade samples and five-day exit odds. It does not establish an edge. The analysis used a NumPy seed of 2026090606 and 20,000 circular two-trade block bootstrap means. The results showed that the 95% range for Bitcoin was between -2.881% and 1.818%, for Ethereum was between -1.355% and 2.364%, and for Solana was between -3.736% and 0.484%. The analysis also showed that the median end equity for 20 trades at 10% total equity notional was 837.91, 857.29, and 823.28. The loss frequency was 84.66%, 29.055%, and 98.815%. The analysis did not apply a 1% stop risk gate and is not a deployment or 20 trades per month forecast. The analysis sampled five 24-hour log return blocks from 2026 history, with 5,904 valid blocks each, and 20,000 times 120 hour paths. The last close ADR stop was 3.663%, 4.840%, and 6.386%, and the target was 5.495%, 7.261%, and 9.579%. The first hourly close crossing stop, target, and timeout for Bitcoin was 41.835%, 21.35%, and 36.815%, for Ethereum was 42.785%, 21.98%, and 35.235%, and for Solana was 34.465%, 16.845%, and 48.69%. The mean modeled net was -0.860%, -0.960%, and -0.901%. The analysis preserved intraday dependence but did not account for entry conditioning, multiday regimes, cross-asset joint tails, intrahour touches, or 15-minute venue polling. The exit odds are scenarios, not the rule's win probability. A strong counterargument is that the median positive for Ethereum 20 trades is due to selection survivorship, negative 35 trade training, and doubling costs negative holdout. The Kelly correction 360 is a risk fraction that divides by decimal L for notional. The ETH plug-in risk of 2.786% implies 105.34% notional before caps, not 2.786% notional. The unknown robust edge sets the actual zero before 212.7475 position, 235.86 fund, and 8.509 risk caps. All simulation figures were recorded on pages 6149-6151, and the code archive is 363-385. Pullback Execution Audit
TechnicaladoptCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 06:14
An audit of a trading fund's performance was conducted using a measurement method, not a trading rule. The audit used data from January 2024 to September 5, 2026, for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. There were 23,496 expected hourly downloads for Bitcoin and Ethereum, with 4 missing hours, and 17,768 expected hours for Solana from August 26, 2024, 16 UTC, with 7 missing hours. The audit found that all 976 complete 24-hour days had no duplicates or invalid data. However, there were missing dates and SHA hashes observed from 6119 to 6121. The maximum daily close errors were 0.09466%, 0.09229%, and 0.11537% for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, respectively. The audit also found that using causal prior-day filters and fixed Average Daily Range exits produced equal daily and hourly returns for all three cryptocurrencies, but the daily drawdowns were 13.5949% and 14.7497% for Bitcoin, 11.4925% and 11.6414% for Ethereum, and 20.9256% and 21.9124% for Solana. The audit used a training method that liquidated missing hour positions at the next available open and flagged them, without imputing fills. All 75 event cash ledgers reconciled with independent product net returns of less than or equal to 2.25e-15. The audit noted that gap-forced exits and strict 50-day coverage can change the opportunity sample and that the missing hours were not random. The main limitation of the audit was that it assumed continuous fills at boundaries, while venue checks were done every 15 minutes, and hourly backtesting cannot validate actual polling stop slippage. This audit is enough to reject certain conclusions, but not enough to authorize even a positive candidate. The source of the data is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, and the scripts are in the 06 UTC archive.

A news scan found the note: Preregistered note 352 has a rule that failed deployment gates. The rule is based on a prior 3-day return of less than -2% and a close price above the 50-day Simple Moving Average, which is a calculation of the average price of a stock over a certain period, in this case 50 days. The next entry is at the 00:00 UTC open. The stop loss is defined as 1 Average Daily Range and the target is 1.5 Average Daily Range. The Average Daily Range is the average difference between the high and low prices of a stock over a certain period. The exit is at the first range hit or the 5-day 00:00 UTC open. BTC Trend Rule Fails
BacktestsrejectCrypto majorsBTC/USD2026-09-06 06:13
A news scan found the note: a trading rule for Bitcoin failed to meet deployment requirements. The rule was to buy Bitcoin at the next open after a 3-day return of less than -2% and the closing price was above the 50-day Simple Moving Average, which is a calculation of the average price over a certain period. The stop loss was set at 1 Average Daily Range and the target was 1.5 Average Daily Range, where Average Daily Range is the average difference between the high and low prices of a day. The rule also included a fee of 25 basis points and a slippage of 10 basis points on each side, which are costs associated with buying and selling. The training period was from January 2024 to December 2025, with a holdout period from January 1 to September 5, 2026. The results showed a daily return of -5.39101% and a maximum drawdown of 13.59490%, where drawdown is the maximum loss from a peak to a trough. The hourly results were similar, with a return of -5.39101% and a maximum drawdown of 14.74971%. The training period had 33 trades, with a return of -31.57041%. The stress holdout period had a return of -9.91515%. The low volatility holdout period had a return of -9.05114%. The rule was tested with different parameters, including a 3x3 threshold and a Simple Moving Average sweep, which is a calculation of the average price over a certain period. The results ranged from -38.5204% to -20.3674%. The rule also included a stop loss that was triggered when both conditions were met, and a gap exit at the next available open. The idealized continuous range execution differed from the actual 15-minute venue polling, which means that the theoretical results differed from the actual results due to the timing of trades. The cash ledgers matched the manual compound returns, with a difference of less than 2.25e-15 return units. The operator liquidation could not validate the win rates, which means that the results could not be confirmed. StatisticalwatchCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-06 06:09
A study reconstructed hourly data into daily closes in UTC time, only counting 24-hour days with no fill, and used data from 2024 to 2025 for training, with SOL starting in August 2024. The historical evaluation took place from January 1 to September 5, 2026. There were 484 training data points and 246 evaluation data points for all three premises. The study found that the daily return correlation between BTC and ETH increased from 0.78545 to 0.91234, between BTC and SOL from 0.76891 to 0.88042, and between ETH and SOL from 0.76842 to 0.88022. The evaluation annualized volatility was 46.925% for BTC, 64.509% for ETH, and 64.059% for SOL. The standard deviation on weekends was 1.560%, 2.498%, and 2.685% respectively, which is lower than on weekdays at 2.741%, 3.679%, and 3.595%. However, this does not mean that weekends are safe, as 1% of the tails are still large. The mean daily returns were -0.01126% for BTC, -0.02482% for ETH, and -0.02767% for SOL. The conclusion is that three crypto positions can share one risk driver, and it is not recommended to pool three correlated histories as independent support for the Kelly criterion. One counterargument is that the common-date training covers a shorter SOL history and periods differ, so the correlation change is descriptive, not causal or guaranteed to be persistent. The study excluded missing or incomplete days and used venue-specific feed coverage and prior inspected holdout bound inference. All train and evaluation quantiles, counts, means, standard deviations, and correlations were recorded observations, sourced from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars.

This analysis looks at the costs of implementing a trading strategy, not the value of a specific token. It is based on two premises: first, the fees charged by the trading venue, as listed at https://docs.alpaca.markets/us/docs/crypto-fees, which include a 0.25% base taker fee and a 0.15% maker fee on the credited asset. Second, it assumes a 0.10% slippage on each side of a trade, which is not measured by the executable quote. Using the Vectorbt cash-fee convention, the roundtrip multiplier is calculated as 0.9930244319, resulting in a loss of 0.69756%. A price rise of 0.70246% is needed to break even. If the fund makes 20 sequential full-notional flat-price roundtrips, it will lose 13.0642%, showing the rate and compounded total of the losses. Note that this frequency is a scenario and not a monthly forecast. One possible counterexample is that passive fills could lower fees, but this would depend on maker eligibility, adverse selection, and fills, which are not measured and cannot be substituted without testing. The trading venue and liquidity providers benefit from turnover, regardless of the fund's performance. A target gap of $349.01, which is 147.97% of the fund's cash of $235.86, is not a plausible target assumption or source of alpha. The fees are known, but the slippage and frequency are hypothetical, and the token valuation and protocol cash flow are outside the scope of this analysis. The binding constraint is the validated net expectancy, not the book capital.
