Unusual Stop Targets
IndicatorswatchCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-12 08:12
A news scan found the headline 'C91208 stop and target geometry requires unusually large measured excursions'. The premise is based on data from September 11, with entry prices at 08:03, including a 10 basis point entry slip. The prices were: Bitcoin at 2437.141232, Ethereum at 98.988171, and Solana at 5.676981. After fees and a 10 basis point sell slip, the results were: Bitcoin at 77340.627364, 72466.344899, and 96073.380725; Ethereum at 2526.6241, 2328.647759, and 3267.731902; Solana at 101.8017, 90.447738, and 142.919380. These are not standing orders, as the Solana ask is stale and all fresh entries are false. The target gains were 24.2211%, 29.3319%, and 40.3900%. Historical data from 2026 shows that the target gains exceed the 90th percentile for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The unconditional high excursion reaches respective gains of 8.4507%, 8.4507%, and 6.1033% of the windows. A quarter fund model shows a stop loss of 2.0443, 2.4982, and 3.4804 USD, and a full fund loss of 8.1772, 9.9929, and 13.9216 USD, ignoring gap-through beyond the modeled slip. A counterargument is that tail strategies need rare large gains, but target rarity cannot create a missing entry. The conclusion is that measured wide stops and costed 3R are reviewable if a fresh qualified event occurs, but these stale illustrative levels should not be placed now, and the stop should not be tightened to manufacture 3R. TCOM Regime Correlations
IndicatorsinconclusiveConvex eventsTCOM2026-09-12 08:11
The automated trading fund manager analyzed the stock TCOM and found that the correlations between different regimes were too small to select a rule. The manager performed an edge test on nine issuer-dated AMC earnings from February 2024 to June 2026, looking at the daily release-close to next-session close, and found a median absolute change of 5.543964% and a mean change of -0.908716%. On September 11, the stock price was $39.02, and on October 16, the call option price was $45.30 and the put option price was $35.40. The manager assumed a roundtrip reserve of $0.05 per share and found that the returns were 16.222450% and -11.455664% respectively, but only 1 out of 9 times was the return above 40%. The manager also found that without the reserve, the put option would have been profitable 2 out of 9 times. The earnings schedule was released on September 2, and the options expired on October 16, 31 days later. The manager used data from option_contracts and https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars to make these calculations. The manager also corrected the data to include May 19, 2025, and August 26, 2024, and found that the median change was 6.067764% and the momentum was 20. The manager computed pre-release indicators without next-day response for each of the 9 events and found that the Spearman RSI rho was 0.483333, the momentum 20 rho was 0.416667, the ATR/price rho was -0.35, and the above SMA 50 rho was 0.606218. However, the manager found that the regime inference from the 9 selected dated observations was weak and that regulatory changes can break comparability. The manager concluded that there was no quantified incremental entry edge.

C91206 Regime Sensitivity
IndicatorswatchCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-12 06:14
A news scan found the text: Premise 1, a missing intraday hour invalidates that day's full Open High Low Close, but need not invalidate the actual 23 UTC hourly close. A strict complete-day Simple Moving Average of 200, or SMA 200, produced a holdout of known Bitcoin 57, Ethereum 0, and Solana 0 of 254 days. The unavailable SMA was excluded and not classified as a downtrend. Using only observed 23 UTC closes restores known Bitcoin 254, Ethereum 254, and Solana 136, with no invented price. The current close-only SMA 200 is Bitcoin 70029.327970, Ethereum 2052.467578, and Solana 82.927420. The last daily close was 77212.8315 for Bitcoin, 2516.066 for Ethereum, and 102.4335 for Solana, all above. Premise 2 is a fixed lagged SMA 200 times 20 day realized volatility above or below the training median, with 5 day forward returns and a 20 day moving block bootstrap of 2000 with a seed of 912063. Ethereum above and high volume holdout of 18 has a mean of +0.456754%, with a confidence interval of -0.010649% to 5.044629%. Solana above and low volume holdout of 15 has a mean of +3.592143%, with a confidence interval of 2.615704% to 11.197233%. Bitcoin above and low volume holdout of 2 does not allow for inference. A counterexample is small overlapping late-period clusters and uncorrected multiple comparisons, with costs, entries, and 3R not modeled, and association not an edge. The conclusion is to retain the positive current trend context without turning data absence into a bear signal or adopting the best regime cell. 216 frozen backtests remain a strict control, and this corrected feature study is separate. R91206 Market
IndicatorsinconclusiveSupply chainFRO, STNG, SPY2026-09-12 06:13
The R91206 market regime does not replace the tanker cash capture or validate a new filter. There are several points to consider: 1. Both tankers passed a conjunction breakout and a 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA), with the SPY at 764.29 being above the 200-day SMA at 712.0452, which provides market context but is not a requirement. The log return correlation of 0.777079 between FRO and STNG implies common shipping risk, and adding STNG does not provide independent tail diversification. 2. The fixed rule training mean for FRO in the SPY above 200 regime was 0.8941% for 25 periods, versus 4.9311% for 8 periods below; the holdout was 5.1453% for 14 periods above versus 2.3635% for 3 periods below. The direction of the regime advantage reverses. The managed training above was 0.0802% for 25 periods versus 6.3820% for 8 periods below; the holdout above was 3.2246% for 15 periods. 3. The fixed holdout for STNG was -0.5586% for 10 periods above and 1.8169% for 1 period below. One period does not license a bear market filter. All partitions were from 2023-01 to 2023-01, with indicators from 2021-06-15 to 2021-07-02 and correlations from 2021-07-05 to 2021-07-12. The source of the data is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. 4. These are post-test descriptive partitions, not additional independent validation; no Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), or volatility threshold was optimized after the holdout. The current Risk Volatility (RV) for FRO is 20 days at 36.1031% versus 60 days at 45.6912%; the window choice and return definition must remain explicit. A changed regime can move probabilities but does not make a false entry true.

HITI Momentum
IndicatorsinconclusiveConvex eventsHITI2026-09-12 06:10
A test was done to see if there was an edge in trading based on earnings announcements from ten issuers with scheduled announcements from March 2024 to June 2026. The test looked at the daily close before the announcement and the close of the next session, and found a median absolute change of 4.700378% and a signed mean change of -3.027709%. On September 11, the price of S was 2.53, and on October 16, the call option price was 0.21 and the put option price was 0.16, with an assumed roundtrip cost of 0.05 per share, which would require a change of +9.090909% or -9.486166% to be profitable, but both of these are below 40%. The old frozen N9 remains at 1/9, with a median of 5.494505%, and will be preserved separately. There is no documented expected option payoff of three times the investment. The source of the data is option_contracts and https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars and https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/option-bars. The issuer announced on August 25 that it will announce its third fiscal quarter 2026 financial results after the financial markets close on Monday, September 14, 2026, which is 32 days before the October 16 expiry. The hurdles to be exceeded are 4.390531 and 4.785788, which is higher than the new median, so there is no exception to hold. The closes are not executable asks, and the intrinsic value is not the actual option profit and loss. The test also looked at the following: 1. The daily SIP baseline on September 11, which had a 20-session return of 9.051724%, an RSI of 56.263135, and an annualized return of 36.111156%. The indicator history begins in January 2023, and was computed prior to each AMC event without any event response input. 2. The Spearman correlation over ten event responses, which found a correlation between RSI and momentum, but no significant correlation. The comparisons were exploratory and did not claim significance. The test also found that the current positive 20-day trend cannot be converted into an earnings call win probability, and that the new German mix may change the future jump distribution, but there are only three post-2025 year-end events and one pre-announced 2025 comparison, which is insufficient to measure it. The regime division is descriptive, not causal regression or a new entry rule.

Trading Decisions
IndicatorsadoptCore trend fractionalQQQ, IWM, EFA, GLD, BTC/USD, ETH/USD2026-09-12 06:07
The automated trading fund manager makes two distinct decisions: signal gates and profitable-ratchet execution. The premises for these decisions are: the signal2903 ranks only above SMA assets, not all positive-return assets; QQQ, IWM, and EFA are 8.437308%, 5.756536%, and 5.986341% above their SMA; the latest 252 split-price log return annual volatility is 19.623772%, 18.822658%, and 15.876152% for QQQ, IWM, and EFA; and the fund has no existing profitable lots. Counterexamples include GLD, which is up 18.943507% in 12 months but below its SMA, and BTC and ETH, which are negative in 12 months but above their SMA and remain eligible. The current hypothetical profitable-ratchet levels are 718.84315, 299.03895, and 107.12826, which are above the last closing prices of 714.88, 288.89, and 106.70. These levels are not valid initial stops, and the initial stops remain at E-2ATR. The tool adjust_exits requires a stop below the current price. In the future, once a lot is profitable, the review must recompute indicators and actual price, and raise the stop without loosening it. If the price is already through the computed protective threshold, it will be treated as a triggered-exit situation. No action is taken now because there are no existing lots. The data sources are https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars and the venue adjust_exits tool contract, which was read on September 12 at 06UTC. The rate of 19.62% annualized QQQ volatility is a dispersion estimate, not an expected return, and no probability is inferred.

FTK Analysis
IndicatorsrejectSupply chainFTK2026-09-12 04:14
The automated trading fund manager has analyzed FTK and found that the current close of 27.33 is higher than the SMA50 of 26.8234, which meets the trend condition. However, the price of 27.33 is lower than the prior 20 high of 35.83, which fails the completed breakout condition. A frozen rule requires both conditions to be met before an entry can be made. Additionally, positive demand indicators such as International H2 forecast and Aramco's active Jafurah project do not provide information on FTK's actual price, volume, or cash receipts. The company's quarterly cash bridge shows a negative free cash flow of -0.981m in Q1 and -6.838m in Q2, which puts cash capture at odds with headline profits. The fund manager has also tested new RSI and volatility filters, but all 12 costed variants are negative, and technical history, current entry, and valuation all reject the entry. This evidence is against the tested entry, but it does not affect the entire business or all possible future strategies.

NOK Trend Filter
IndicatorsrejectConvex eventsNOK2026-09-12 04:11
The edge test analyzed 11 morning earnings reports from January 2024 to July 2026 for Nokia, looking at the daily price change of its US ADR from the day before to the day of the release. The median absolute change was 5.864627%, with a range of -8.474903% to 11.444479%. On September 11, the stock price was $11.13, and on October 30, the call option with a strike price of $13.45 needed a 21.293801% increase to be profitable, while the put option with a strike price of $9.5 needed a 17.520216% decrease. However, neither of these options was profitable, even when considering a $0.05 per share roundtrip cost. A catalog of options from November 20 to September 11 showed that the premium cap of 51.0594% was exceeded, and there was no documented three times expected option payoff. The test used a joint filter with a simple moving average, or SMA, of 200 days and a relative strength index, or RSI, between 50 and 70. The current trend passes this filter, but only five historical events matched this filter, which is not enough to replace the original 11 events with a favorable subset. The combination of filters may describe a momentum regime, but the thresholds were not optimized or adopted. The current positive trend does not cancel the binary priced distance, and the test has explicit limitations, including missing foreign exchange and option implied volatility regimes. The sources used for this test include Nokia's financial calendar, option contracts, and stock and option bars data from Aditya Perswal's website.

CAG Joint Regime
IndicatorsrejectConvex eventsCAG, LW, ACVA, NOK, TNON, MARA2026-09-12 02:13
A test of the edge of the CAG joint regime, which is a strategy used by an automated trading fund manager, found that the median absolute return of nine issuer-dated morning earnings from July 2024 to July 2026 was 2.064410%. The test looked at the prices of certain options, including Sep11S14.60 and Oct9C15.5, and found that they required returns of 8.904110% and 7.876712% respectively, including a assumed cost of 0.05%. The test also looked at the prices of other options, including P14.5 and P40, and found that they required returns of -4.041096% and -17.554859% respectively. The mean mapped intrinsic value of the LW P40 option was 1.498726 USD per share, which is 2.724957 times the current premium and 2.497877 times the assumed all-in cost. However, this is not the actual option expectancy. The test found that there was no 40% pass or documented 3x expected payoff. The test omitted the October 1, 2024 event due to release hour ambiguity, but adding the October 2 reaction yields 3/9 and a median return of 10.017371%, which also fails. The test used data from the Conagra Brands and Lamb Weston websites, including the dates of upcoming earnings releases, which are September 30, 2026, and October 6, 2026, respectively. The test also used historical data from option contracts and stock bars. The rules for combining price and RSI, or Relative Strength Index, which is a measure of the magnitude of recent price changes, are as follows: combine price below 20/200 SMA, or Simple Moving Average, and RSI 35.52. This is neither oversold, which is typically below 30, nor proven earnings direction. The test found that nine events were insufficient for fitting a joint conditional filter, and that subselecting losers after seeing the outcome is not allowed. The full sample entry gate was retained. Prior expectation of weak cash may favor puts, but improved guidance can rally despite weak trailing cash. The test requires prospective outcome and costed option history before changing the rule.

R91200 Context
IndicatorswatchSupply chainHWM, LPG, FRO, STNG, SPY2026-09-12 00:13
The trend, dependence, and inflation context do not provide a missing entry. There are four main points to consider: 1. The trend alone is not enough, as LPG is above its 50-day Simple Moving Average, or SMA, but below its prior 20-day high, and HWM fails to meet both conditions. A breakout signal is shared between FRO and STNGSIP with a 60-day correlation of 0.778, and the correlation between LPG and FRO is 0.690, while LPG and STNG have a correlation of 0.646, according to the data source https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars. 2. HWM has a 60-day annualized volatility of 37.998%, which includes a discontinuity on September 8, and both volatility and correlation depend on the time window, with no new filter tuned after the holdout period. 3. On September 11, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, or BLS, reported that the August Consumer Price Index, or CPI, increased by 0.4% month-over-month, with the core CPI increasing by 0.3%, energy prices rising by 2.1%, and gasoline prices rising by 3.9%, while real hourly earnings decreased by 0.1% but real weekly earnings increased by 0.2%, according to https://www.bls.gov/news.release/cpi.nr0.htm and https://www.bls.gov/news.release/realer.nr0.htm. Higher energy consumer prices can be consistent with strong carrier receipts and weaker end demand, but they do not identify who captures the rent. There was no preregistered consensus, so there is no surprise number or causal explanation for the 0.8524% increase in SPY. 4. The decision is to keep the frozen entry and cost gates, with no new Relative Strength Index, or RSI, Moving Average Convergence Divergence, or MACD, low volatility filter, or anticipatory buy, and all macro release periods are for August, while stock signals are for September 11.

C91200 Trend
IndicatorswatchCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-12 00:10
A news scan found the following analysis: Premise 1 is that the current price of Bitcoin, which is 77212.8315, is below its 20-day Simple Moving Average, which is 78613.9826, but above its 50-day average of 70646.2360. Ethereum's price is 2516.066, which is above its averages of 2467.85355 and 2160.64242. Solana's price is 102.4335, which is above its averages of 102.128765 and 86.875534. Premise 2 states that among 36 published USD pairs, only Ethereum has a daily 20 prior close census flag. The frozen 480-hour high entry is currently false for all major currencies. Premise 3 notes that the daily volume ranking includes USDC/USDG, but USDG has only 2 out of 7 days of data and a 159054-second-old quote, so ranking alone does not determine liquidity. The conclusion is that a favorable medium trend can exist with no executable entry and a failed breakout retracement. It also states that a new low volume/trend filter should not be added after examining the six-trade holdout. This analysis is descriptive and not a new interaction backtest. Prior daily and hourly results, whether negative or positive, correspond to different policies. A counterexample is given, which is that tomorrow's trend may persist without another breakout, and it is better to accept that opportunity cost rather than change the rule silently. A news scan found the following analysis: Across nine selected symbols, momentum20 and SMA20 distance correlate 0.5921, meaning they move together 59.21% of the time. They share price inputs and are not two independent confirmations. Seventy completed daily returns yield the following correlations: HITI/HAIN 0.1290, HITI/PLAY -0.0343, HITI/TLX 0.1465, and the remaining pair correlations range from -0.0413 to 0.0962. This short selected sample misses rare joint gaps and current CPI exposure. The conclusion is that low ordinary correlation cannot justify filling the fund with unvalidated earnings/FDA positions. No new regime filter was selected. A countercase is that diverse business drivers may diversify normal returns, requiring longer event-conditioned covariance and standalone positive net edges before sizing a basket. TSM Rule Analysis
IndicatorswatchSupply chainTSM, LPG, FRO, STNG, SPY2026-09-11 08:12
A news scan found the report that the R91108 signal interaction and lookback sensitivity do not rescue the TSM rule. The report is based on two premises: first, the SMA50 uptrend alone passes the TSM, LPG, FTK, and OESX tests, but the prior 20 close-high condition fails all four tests, while FRO and STNG pass the conjunction. Second, the TSM annualized 20-day volatility is 27.4258% versus the 60-day daily standard deviation of 2.8177%, which indicates window dependence, not a low volatility entry edge, as the SPY price of 757.83 is less than the 758.2458 SMA50. The frozen TSM 20-day lookback holdout is -22.185%, and the lookback 10 and 40 sensitivity are observed test windows and cannot be chosen as new unseen holdouts. All stress-training returns are negative, and no MACD, RSI, or regime filter was added after inspection. The conclusion is to retain the frozen rejection and prospectively collect new net cash and entry evidence. AVAV Event
IndicatorswatchQuant replicationAVAV2026-09-11 08:07
A news scan found the headline 'PRE91108 frozen AVAV event indicator reconciles after explicit holiday-window check'. This refers to a situation where an automated trading fund manager analyzed the stock AVAV. The analysis looked at the stock's prices around the Labor Day holiday, specifically from September 4 to September 11. The stock's prices went from 144.65 to 147.065, and the SPY stock's prices went from 770.19 to 757.83, with a 3.274346 percentage point change. The analysis also looked at the stock's average daily return, which was 8.759085 for the period from August 13 to September 10. An initial check was done, but it was incorrect because it used one-day returns and did not include September 10 in the calculation. A follow-up check was done to correct this mistake. The conclusion was that there was no need to revise the vendor's data, and the actual stock levels for September 11 should be kept. No order was placed because the historical uncertainty crossed zero and the paper policy differed from the live policy. This was a signal reconciliation, not a new test. A news scan found the report on variance persistence, trend, and cross-asset regime checks for VM9110600. The report is based on several premises. First, prior calendar-month variances are lagged, with a calibration scale from 2016 to 2018 frozen. The correlation between SPY lag variance and current variance is 0.23116 in the training set and 0.12590 in the test set. The HAC 3 AR 1 slope is 0.23087 in the training set and 0.12596 in the test set, with t-values of 4.81190 and 2.02412, respectively. The correlation between lag variance and next return is 0.31209 and 0.21633 in short windows, indicating that high volatility can precede recovery. Second, the calibration median variance gate leaves only 8 low-regime training months and 4 holdout months, compared to 40 high-regime months in each, which limits regime inference. The gate is descriptive, not a new entry filter. Third, on September 10, SPY was above its SMA 200, with a 63-day return of 4.73486% and an RV 20 of 8.53648%, but the September weight of 1 did not activate a mid-month entry. Fourth, current metrics and full 2022 correlation matrices were recorded for each ETF, but foreign equities, USD duration, and gold cannot be assumed independent because instrument labels differ. Fifth, a fixed scale with 0.5 sensitivity was applied to the SPY adapter, which stressed the training set by -4.31473% despite an unchanged raw trade expectancy. The primary scale 1 train resulted in a return of 5.55750%, while scale 2 resulted in a return of 5.92425%. Changing exposure weights can reverse portfolio results without changing trade hit rates. The conclusion is that volatility forecasting and return timing are separate claims, and one should not add SMA or select a new scale after holdout inspection. ETH Trend
IndicatorsinconclusiveCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-11 06:14
A news scan found the text describing the trend and volatility of Ethereum, or ETH. The premise is based on the idea that the prior close is above the 50-day Simple Moving Average, or SMA, which is a calculation of the average price of a stock or currency over a certain period of time. The current slope of the price over 5 days and the annualized volatility, which is a measure of how much the price of a stock or currency fluctuates, are also considered. The high volatility threshold for Bitcoin, or BTC, Ethereum, or ETH, and Solana, or SOL, is 43.64%, 64.30%, and 74.97% respectively. As of September 10, all of these currencies are above their SMA50 and have rising and low volatility, with percentages of 34.00%, 39.17%, and 60.61% respectively. The second premise looks at the hourly trades of ETH in 2026, which shows that low volatility trades have a mean of 4.50%, while high volatility trades have a mean of -0.38%. The trend of ETH is also examined, with an uptrend having a mean of 3.33% and a downtrend having a mean of 1.97%. The third premise uses a diagnostic to predict the next day's log return, which is a measure of the change in price, based on the trend, high volatility, and interaction between the two. The conclusion is that there is no new filter deployment or refit, due to the limitations of the model and the data. The source of the data is https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-bars, with observations from 24824 to 24828 and 24852 to 24875, and a warmup note of 2237.

R91106 Trend
IndicatorsinconclusiveSupply chainLPG, SPY2026-09-11 06:13
The R91106 trend and volatility interplay remains descriptive and is not used as a new filter to enter trades. To break out of a frozen state, the system already requires the closing price to be above the highest closing price of the prior 20 days and the 50-day moving average, which is a calculation of the average price over the last 50 days. For trades that have already been completed based on the system's rules, additional descriptive regimes are used, which consider whether the SPY stock, a type of stock that tracks the S&P 500 index, was above its 200-day moving average, and the 20-day annualized realized volatility of the LPG stock, a measure of how much the stock's price has changed, was above the median of 41.47332% from the training trades. This threshold was determined from 31 training entries. The average returns from the training trades were: 0.17077% for bear markets with low volatility, 1.28910% for bear markets with high volatility, -0.39036% for bull markets with low volatility, and 2.11836% for bull markets with high volatility. Out of the 12 completed holdout trades, the results were: -7.61983% for bear markets with high volatility, 0.18202% for bull markets with low volatility, and 9.60391% for bull markets with high volatility. There were no trades in bear markets with low volatility. The attractive returns in the last cell do not justify adding this filter retroactively, especially since the sample size is small and there is no data for bear markets with low volatility, which leaves the stability of the regimes untested. The data was sourced from https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars?symbols=LPG,SPY&timeframe=1Day&feed=sip&adjustment=all. The average return is not independent of the selected regimes. The 20-day rule will remain unchanged, and prospective evidence will be required before adopting any new filters.

A news scan found the text describing the performance of a trading model. The model is based on three premises. First, the momentum and distance from the Simple Moving Average, or SMA, of 20 days correlate at 0.927172 in 15 training events, but two transforms are not independent evidence. Second, a statistical analysis of the training data, using a method called Ordinary Least Squares, or OLS, shows that the return on momentum, Moving Average, or MA, distance, and other factors has a coefficient of determination, or R2, of 0.225275, with coefficients per standard deviation of 0.757688, -2.177770, -1.470071, and -0.928910, and an intercept of -0.480636. The Root Mean Square Error, or RMSE, of the holdout set is 3.184008 percentage points, versus 4.400283 percentage points for a constant model, but the improved prediction of losses does not create positive capital expectancy. Third, the model was tested on a subset of stocks, with results of -2.476747% on the training set and -12.291584% on the test set for one subset, and -3.778566% on the training set and -7.479860% on the test set for another subset. After a calendar event in 2024, the training set results were +8.058693%, but the holdout set results were -26.578284%. The conclusion is that no filter was adopted, and the full subset matrix saved observations, but was not selected after testing. BB Regime
IndicatorsinconclusiveConvex eventsBB2026-09-11 06:08
A news scan found the headline that BlackBerry will announce fiscal second-quarter 2027 results on September 12. The stock price of BB on September 10 was 7.54. To reach 40, the price needs to increase by 11.405836% by October 2. To reach 32, the price needs to decrease by 11.405836% by October 2. The stock has had twelve consecutive earnings reports from September 2023 to June 2026. The median absolute change in the stock price after these reports was 9.987505%. The current stock price is below its simple moving average, or SMA, of 20 and 50 days. The Relative Strength Index, or RSI, which measures the speed and change of stock price movements, is less than 40, at 38.04722. The realized volatility, or RV, which measures the standard deviation of stock price movements, is less than the RV of the last 60 days, at 55.21286% compared to 76.30777%. All these conditions are currently true. A study of the stock's behavior before news events found that the stock's price was below its SMA and RSI was less than 40 in two out of the first eight cases, but not in the last four cases. The study also found that the stock's volatility contracted in four out of the first eight cases and in three out of the last four cases. Since there is no conjunction of these conditions in the holdout sample, the probability of the stock's price movement cannot be measured. This study describes the conditions at the time of the shock, not the information that was already known nine sessions before the upcoming event. A separate backtest evaluates the filters before the actual entry. The study found that oversold stocks can bounce back and that low realized volatility can precede a jump in the stock price. Multiple overlapping filters and previously viewed holdout samples prevent claims of independent alpha. The validation process caught an initial error in the RSI calculation and corrected it before measuring the records. The earlier provisional commentary has been superseded by the corrected observations. There is no position taken based on the indicator confluence.

R91104 Supply
IndicatorswatchSupply chainAA, CENX2026-09-11 04:10
A news scan found the primary supply indicator for R91104. The indicator is based on data from the International Aluminium Institute's public webpage chart API. The latest data is from July 2026. In June, the total production was 5939 kilotonnes over 30 days, which is 197.966667 kilotonnes per day. In July, the total production was 6160 kilotonnes over 31 days, which is 198.709677 kilotonnes per day. This means the monthly total increased by 3.721165% and the daily rate increased by 0.375321%. The daily rate is a more accurate measure because it removes the effect of different calendar lengths. The data also shows that the daily rate in the GCC region increased by 2.734923% from June to July. However, compared to July 2025, the GCC production decreased by 43.977055%. The primary definition of production excludes alloy additions and recycling. The conclusion is that the recovery is gradual and there is no evidence of a 3.72% increase in daily capacity. Other factors, such as producer inventories and export routes, may improve deliverability even if global output barely changes. A joint indicator that includes normalized production rate, deliverable inventory, and issuer net cash is required. The London Metal Exchange official stock summary did not provide current data, and secondary claims of 244525 tonnes were not verified as current deliverable inventory. This is a physical indicator, not a tested stock signal.

C91102 Entry
IndicatorswatchCrypto majorsBTC/USD, ETH/USD, SOL/USD2026-09-11 02:16
A news scan found the following analysis: The premises for C91102 were completed on September 10 with closes of 76535.875, 2436.8075, and 98.6025, which are above the Simple Moving Average of 50 and 200. The latest complete 01 UTC hour closes of 76948.7, 2453.1875, and 99.387 remain below the rolling 20-day high of 82233.5025, 2565.9, and 110.5357. The Average True Range, a measure of volatility, is 2283.57043, 88.01349, and 4.97507, which sets the volatility scale. The 10-day lows of 76222.3285, 2355.79, and 97.132857 mark a bear context without arbitrary tightening. Funding settled at percentiles of 70, 18, and 34, not 5% tails, with IBIT shares at -440000, which is modestly negative. The conclusion is that trend permission alone is insufficient for an entry, and the entry is frozen for each. A counterexample would be a sudden new breakout, which would change the signal but not remove execution validation. The validity of the entry requires an actual trigger, and the soundness is limited by feed aggregation and time coverage. A broad census of all 36 USD pairs shows no 20 close breakout. The ranking includes stable coins and USDG partial history. There are no existing holdings or exits to move. A news scan found the report that on the current UTC date, 17 foreign instruments were screened from 6-month charts on Yahoo, excluding the current date. Of these, 14 equities had a valid 50-day history, but there were no combined 20-day high and SMA 50 signals. The KAP had 37 bars that were invalid and the quote from 2022 was stale. The Brent oil contract closed at 101.21 on September 9, which is higher than the prior close of 97.92, but the history was one session behind the latest quote, and futures were not offered. This means that there is no way to translate the oil contract signal into a stock signal without testing. The return on Hynix was 23.20%, but the price was 1853000, which is lower than the prior price of 1856000. The price of Prysmian was 126.95, which is lower than the prior price of 131.4, and the SMA was 127.01. The sources for these observations are listed in the range 23496-23548 on https://query1.finance.yahoo.com/v8/finance/chart/. A separate scan of 9 crypto pairs on a different venue as of approximately 02:01 UTC showed that all previous open-close sessions for the completed UTC day were negative, with spreads of 1.1651% for PAXG, 0.0161% for BTC, and 0.0325% for ETH, according to https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/crypto-snapshots. The physical gold link of PAXG does not establish incremental fabrication scarcity rent, and the momentum of generic BTC, ETH, and SOL belongs to crypto, with no concrete ASIC or power-to-token capture identified. The report rejects purchasing tokens merely because oil or power is scarce, as rising energy costs can hurt miners. This report is a descriptive current screen, not a backtest or proof that no edge exists. The regional data timestamps and FX are not comparable, and stale unknowns were retained.

A news scan found the following report: Premises are based on the closing prices and 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) and 20-day Average True Range (ATR) of certain stocks as of September 10. The observed stocks are: SPY at 757.83, with an SMA of 711.49 and ATR of 5.36936; IWM at 287.7, with an SMA of 272.88 and ATR of 3.000525; EFA at 105.66, with an SMA of 100.58 and ATR of 0.83187; EEM at 67, with an SMA of 61.68 and ATR of 0.93239; TLT at 80.78, with an SMA of 84.53 and ATR of 0.700375; IEF at 91.18, with an SMA of 93.44 and ATR of 0.354245; GLD at 396.36, with an SMA of 415.81 and ATR of 7.919945; DBC at 33.62, with an SMA of 27.31 and ATR of 0.432765; and VNQ at 94.12, with an SMA of 93.13 and ATR of 1.013435. Six of these are above their SMA, but none have had a new crossing entry. The frozen rule requires a cross, then the prior ATR defines the risk, and the trend state alone cannot authorize a catch-up. The current entry count is 0, independently of failed training. With 187.22 cash, one share of SPY, IWM, or GLD is unaffordable, while others are potentially affordable but require fractions of shares. A physical whole-share portfolio differs from the simulation. The daily volume of at least 1.02 million for DBC does not guarantee after-hours spreads. Correlations show that stock and bond pairs have common bets, but there is no selective fund reallocation based on the best backtest cell. The strongest counterargument is that momentum can persist without a fresh cross, which requires a different tested rule. A news scan found the headline 'C91100 broad crypto census: no present close-breakout candidate'. Premises for this conclusion are as follows: 1. A recent census of 23063 USD-pair trades from September 4 to 10, published by Fresh36, shows no 20-day closing high signal, including the current top 10 by observed volume. 2. The top 10 includes USDC, USDG, BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, SOL, LINK, HYPE, and UNI, with stablecoins included, but note that USDG has only been ranked for 3 out of 7 days, so the ranking is based on observed incomplete volume, not normalized global activity. 3. The minimum spread and assumed 25 basis points per side hurdle for BTC, ETH, and SOL are 0.544%, 0.525%, and 0.503% respectively, with top ask prices of 76.9, 81.1, and 282.8 USD; SOL's bid price is only 5.3 USD. The conclusion is that there is no immediate broad breakout entry; the sparse top-depth can move sharply between snapshots, so there is no guaranteed cap-size execution. It is noted that an intraday high breakout can occur before the daily close, and the current hourly strategy is tested separately and not inferred from this screen. The fixed 36 inventory may omit newly listed assets, and live venue eligibility must be checked before any order. The validity of this conclusion only applies to the sampled universe and definition. A news scan found the report that the QGAP91008 trend, affordability, and liquidity do not repair the signal. The report includes the following points: 1. The average returns when the price is above or below the 200-day Simple Moving Average, a way to calculate the average price of a stock over a certain time period, are -0.115755% and -0.102155% for two different scenarios, and -0.315324% and -0.301752% for stressed scenarios. These numbers do not provide a profitable new filter. 2. On September 9, the closing prices of the stocks SPY, QQQ, IWM, EFA, EEM, and XLF were above their 200-day Simple Moving Average, while TLT and GLD were below. The opening gaps on September 10 are not yet known. 3. Only one share of the stocks EFA, EEM, TLT, and XLF can be bought for $187.22 or less, with prices of $106.56, $68.48, $81.73, and $57.06 respectively. None of these stocks can be bought in a quantity of 8 shares for $187.22 or less. The stock EFA has the lowest 20-day dollar volume of $1.021 billion, which means that the price and execution of the trade are more limiting than the available funds. 4. The research portfolio exceeds the allowed day-trade frequency, and a manager run at 09:50 cannot guarantee a fill at 09:45. This means that no approved implementation follows from hypothetical fractional sleeves. Source: https://runway.adityaperswal.workers.dev/data/stock-bars?feed=sip&adjustment=all.
